A homeless man with a history of violence was arrested after he coldcocked an elderly woman in a random attack while he was on parole for another assault.
In the latest example of how people are at risk of becoming victims of violent predators in crime-ridden New York City, 29-year-old Mouhamed Diallo sucker punched a 72-year-old woman in the back of the head as she was walking.
The incident occurred on May 5 at around 4:50 p.m. at the corner of Fourth Avenue and 96th Street in Brooklyn, authorities said. After the unprovoked assault, the perp ran away as his victim lay on the ground bleeding. He was caught on surveillance video fleeing the scene.

On Thursday, Diallo was arrested and charged with second-degree assault which is a felony, according to police.
A habitual offender, he has ten prior arrests with eight for assault and two for robbery, police and sources told the New York Post.
“Five of the assaults took place in Brooklyn, and three of them inside a correctional facility in the Bronx,” sources told the outlet. “One of them was for felony assault, and Diallo was freed in February on that crime and put on parole ’til November 2028, law enforcement sources said.”
News of the arrest drew a reaction from users on X, the platform previously known as Twitter.
Is this another “random” attack on a White woman?

If the victim was white, then the attack was not “random”.

If you release somebody who committed violent assault, and he violently assaults somebody, is that really random?

How does one check in with his parole officer when he’s running around the streets committing more crimes?

He’ll be released soon. He’s a good man. Just needs another chance.

What’s the point of it all? Nab, release. Grandma gets decked, out on no bail release next day. WTF??

It’s called prison. Let’s start using it more and for longer periods of time

Get out of Democrat shithole cities.

Thanks to years of Democrat leadership, nobody is safe on the mean streets of Gotham where 66-year-old actor Steve Buscemi, a Brooklyn native, was also the victim of a random attack last week.
The “Boardwalk Empire” and “Sopranos” star was minding his own business while walking in Manhattan when he was punched by an assailant, sending him to Bellevue Hospital for treatment.
In another recent Big Apple crime – this one of a sexual nature – a 45-year-old woman was walking down the street when she was lassoed by a thug with his belt. She was then dragged behind a car and raped.

On the same day that Diallo was nabbed, another vicious thug allegedly assaulted a 64-year-old woman, punching and slashing her with a knife in Queens.
