‘Hope you all crash and die!’ Vicious ‘Karen’ gets nasty while being escorted off plane

In another example of why flying on Spirit Airlines is an incredibly bad idea, an angry “Karen” who was booted from the plane told jeering passengers on her way off the flight, “I hope you all crash and die.”

The incident was caught on a TikTok video by a passenger named Brad and has gone viral with over 3 million views. The flight was departing Harry Reid Airport in Las Vegas on Sunday when the drama played out.

It’s being reported that it is unclear why the woman was asked to leave, but according to a snippet at The Independent, she was smoking on the flight.

The woman was escorted off the plane by security carrying her belongings and accompanied by a male companion. Passengers can be heard yelling at her, “Boo!”

The woman responded, “Boo you, b*tch. If you were in my position you’d do the same thing.” As the woman goes out of view into the tunnel, she viciously yelled at the passengers, “I hope you all crash and die.”

When she told everyone that she hoped they died, the passengers were shocked and exclaimed “ohhh!” as a pilot followed her off the plane. A four-hour delay then ensued further annoying the passengers.

A man, who is not seen in the video, can be heard repeating the woman’s curse, “I hope you crash and die, she said.”

Passengers reportedly speculated that the pilot was going to request that she be put on a No Fly list after her comment, according to the Daily Mail. More likely, he was chastising her as he was only gone a few seconds. Spirit Airlines has not commented on the incident yet.

“Miss ma’am bouta be on the FBI no fly list,” one person commented on TikTok.

“That’s not something you wish for on Spirit,” commented another.

“NOT THE PILOT GOIN AFTER HER AND EVERYONE OOOING LIKE KIDS,” another user laughed.

“Y’all on Spirit. It’s already a possibility,” pointed out a third.

Barstool Sports came up with a perfect summation of what it’s like to fly on Spirit: “Flying Spirit Airlines is bad enough. The company is built on the human instinct to take a $30 savings in the moment knowing that you won’t have to worry about dealing with the painful Hell you will experience whenever you board the plane. They charge you extra for even the most basic of amenities. Plus you are surrounded by people who have made the same brutal mistake. Everyone is miserable and uncomfortable. If you haven’t flown Spirit, it’s almost worth going on a very short flight just to for the story. It would be like serving a quick 15 day prison sentence. Yeah, the two weeks would be sh*t but you’d have a great story at any party.”

So the commentary on TikTok is actually apropos. And there have been a ton of videos of bad behavior on Spirit airlines.

Verbal harassment is considered a Level 1 threat, which violates federal law.

The Federal Aviation Authority (FAA) reported that, as of December 15, there had been 2,359 reports of unruly passengers, and 553 enforcement action cases initiated. They also stated that 823 investigations had been opened.

The FAA asserts that “Interfering with the duties of a crewmember violates federal law. The repercussions for passengers who engage in unruly behavior can be substantial. They can be fined by the FAA or prosecuted on criminal charges.”

Passengers can face fines of up to $37,000 for unruly behavior on a flight.
