Horrific daylight attack on elderly woman, child at front door by vagrant conjures migrant fears

Europe has largely opened its collective door to immigrants from Africa and the Middle East for years now under the progressive notion that it’s the righteous thing to do, resulting in a tidal wave of refugees desperately fleeing poverty and warfare while European residents are left to deal with the vast cultural divide from a demographic that has shown little interest in assimilating.

In many areas, women are the most at risk — in Sweden, where immigrants make up more than 10% of the population, rape reached crisis proportions.

France has its share of concerns as well, as seen in a surveillance video that’s making the rounds online. In the footage, a black man is seen violently attacking an elderly woman and her granddaughter. The troubling incident took place Monday in Bordeaux, a port city in southwestern France, according to Newsweek. The man is seen standing in the street near a residence as a 73-year-old woman and her young granddaughter stand in their doorway.

The suspect slowly makes his way toward the doorway and springs into action just as the woman attempts to get inside and close the door. He violently rips them out of the house and onto a sidewalk, where he is seen taking something that fell from the woman after tossing the child a second time.

The suspect was quickly arrested, but authorities did not release his name.

He was widely identified online as a migrant of African origin, but Newsweek cited the cable network BFM TV to say the suspect is a French man who was born in Bordeaux.

Eric Zemmour, a former French presidential candidate from the right shared the video in a tweet, adding: “How awful. Bordeaux today. This is what they have done to our country. French, wake up.”

Bordeaux’s former mayor, Nicolas Florian, also shared the footage, tweeting: “Unbearable images of the aggression of a grandmother and her granddaughter on the course of Martinique in the heart of #Bordeaux and in broad daylight. I give them all my support. I call for the greatest severity in the penal response.”

Other videos being shared on social media show what is purported to be waves of illegal immigrants entering Spain and Italy — it’s not clear when the footage was taken.
