The House Freedom Caucus is reportedly mulling ousting outspoken Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene over her “unprofessional” behavior.
“Members of the House Freedom Caucus discussed potentially ousting [her] from the conservative group during a closed-door meeting on Friday morning, three sources familiar with the conversation [said],” according to Axios.
Two of the sources called Greene’s recent behavior “unprofessional,” while one source added that caucus members are becoming increasingly frustrated with the Georgia Republican for a wide number of reasons — none of which were specified.
That being said, “no decisions were made” Friday, one member said.
In addition, three GOP lawmakers reportedly cast doubt that Greene could actually be ousted, given as so many “long-standing” caucus members aren’t comfortable with such a move, and given also that her ouster would require an 80 percent majority vote.
Regardless, news of Greene’s potential ouster prompted celebration from her leftist haters:

Why though are certain caucus members so keen on ousting Greene? Well, this push for her ouster comes only days after she and Rep. Lauren Boebert got into a tiff on the House floor after they both submitted competing articles of impeachment for President Joe Biden.
“According to two sources that saw the exchange and a third familiar with the matter, the back and forth began when Boebert approached Greene—then seated in the chamber—and confronted her over ‘statements you made about me publicly.’ All three of the sources said Greene called Boebert a ‘b*tch.’ One of the sources said Greene called her ‘a little b*tch,'” The Daily Beast reported.
The two sources claim that Greene stood up and alleged that Boebert “copied my articles of impeachment.” Boebert snapped back that she hadn’t even read Greene’s resolution.
“I’ve donated to you. I’ve defended you. But you’ve been nothing but a little b–ch to me. And you copied my articles of impeachment after I asked you to cosponsor them,” Greene reportedly replied.
A GOP lawmaker and another source reportedly confirmed the trash-talking to The Daily Beast.
“I heard Marjorie call Boebert a b–ch right to her face,” the unnamed GOP lawmaker claimed.

Speaking with The Daily Beast after the confrontation, Boebert denied that the two women were beefing.
“Marjorie is not my enemy. I came here to protect our children and their posterity. Joe Biden and the Democrats are destroying our country. My priorities are to correct their bad policies and save America,” she said.
Greene was not as sanguine about the encounter. If anything, she slammed Boebert for introducing articles of impeachment after her.
“Lauren Boebert never addressed the conference. I made it clear to the conference that I have introduced articles of impeachment, literally since Joe Biden’s first day in office,” she said.
“I have been talking about it with everybody forever. Literally, everyone. Forever, ‘til I’m blue in the face. You see me? I’m blue in the face,” she added.
Another reason for the caucus’ growing distaste for Greene may be her love affair with House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, whose speakership she’d fought hard to secure.
Recall that during the speaker battle that erupted in January, Greene sided with McCarthy and against the Freedom Caucus.
“One of the main subplots in Kevin McCarthy’s drawn-out attempt to become Speaker of the House—which involved losing a humiliating 14 votes before he ultimately eked out a win—was Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene’s decision to break with the Freedom Caucus to support his leadership bid,” Vanity Fair reported in January.
“Greene’s backing of McCarthy was surprisingly not only due to her fringe-right bona fides but because of her willingness to fight with her pals on the far right, including representatives Matt Gaetz and Lauren Boebert, whom she dubbed as ‘destructionists,’ and quarrel with Boebert in the Congressional bathrooms,” the outlet added.
Also, recall how Taylor Greene again sided with McCarthy when the Freedom Caucus threatened to oust him as speaker during the debt-ceiling battle last month.
