House hearing blows up when DHS Sec. Mullin thinks Al Green calls him ‘racist’

Outgoing Democrat Rep. Al Green made a spectacle of the Congressional process when he started throwing slanderous allegations around on the House floor, and DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin wasn’t having it.

The heated exchange began after Green held up an image of President Donald Trump while simultaneously muttering the words “racist” and “Mr. Secretary.”

“Racists take offense at peaceful protests,” Green reportedly began. “A racist, Mr. Secretary, would do what happened to Ruby—” he continued before Mullin interrupted.

“Are you calling me a racist?” Mullin shot back.

“SHUT UP! SHUT UP!” Green ranted.

“No one will call me a racist,” Mullin said.
