U.S. Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) may be in rough shape, but he’s apparently not going anywhere, even though it’s increasingly obvious that he belongs in the old folks home, as one GOP House lawmaker points out.
The former Republican Senate Minority leader has emerged as the key obstacle to the passage of the SAVE Act, a bill that would make it much more difficult for the Democrats to carry out election fraud using their army of illegal aliens, legislation that would greatly benefit the GOP in November’s midterm elections.
McConnell is leading a gang of so-called “conservative” senators who have thwarted efforts to implement the “talking filibuster,” which would force Democrat obstructionists to actually take to the floor to give speeches defending their position of why illegal aliens should vote. The octogenarian may now have to be wheeled into the Senate, but his hatred for Trump is what keeps him going.
On Friday’s edition of Andrew Wilkow’s SiriusXM radio show, Rep. Ralph Norman (R-SC) blasted the Kentucky geezer, whom he suggested has entered Joe Biden territory, and that he belongs in a nursing home.

“He hates Donald Trump. Trump Syndrome is alive and well with him,” said the congressman when asked by the host about why McConnell is leading the SAVE Act resistance in the Senate.
“Secondly, he should be in a nursing home. He shouldn’t be in the United States Congress casting votes,” continued Norman, who is running to be South Carolina’s next governor. “And thirdly, he exercises power. And I think he’s beholden to the special interests, and this is politics gone wrong.
“And this is where term limits have to be in effect to get these people out,” he argued. “And from what I understand, they have a hard time getting him to the floor to vote. I mean, it is kind of basic, being able to get to the floor and vote whether it’s wheelchair or not. But mentally, I don’t think he’s there.”
Video of McConnell being caddied around in a wheelchair has been posted to X, reminding users of now-deceased Democrat Senator Dianne Feinstein, who stuck around until she was 90 despite it being obvious to any unbiased observer that she was mentally incapable of carrying out her duties.

Another GOP House member also suggested that the geriatric McConnell is the poster boy for term limits.

“Pass the Save America Act and then let’s talk about some Term Limits,” wrote Rep. Tim Burchett (R-Tenn.) in a post to X, sharing video of the incapacitated McConnell being trundled around by staffers.
