House Republican says Lindsey Graham ‘should have his Oval Office credentials revoked’

U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) was criticized by a Republican member of Congress for his “prominent role” in decisions about the war with Iran.

Graham has been a staunch advocate of the war, which was launched on February 28 in an effort to remove Iran’s nuclear and military capabilities. But U.S. Rep. Kat Cammack had a blunt response when asked about Graham’s alleged influence on President Donald Trump as the conflict continues and Iran is reportedly negotiating with U.S. officials to end the attacks.

“Congresswoman, do you agree with President Trump that we’ve won in Iran?” a reporter, identified as Pablo Manríquez of Migrant Insider, asked the Florida Republican outside the Capitol on Wednesday.

“I haven’t heard that yet,” Cammack responded as she continued walking to a waiting vehicle.

“Do you think that Lindsey Graham should continue to have such a prominent role in the execution of the war?” the reporter then questioned the congresswoman.

“I absolutely think that he should have his Oval Office credentials revoked,” she said as she stepped into the vehicle.

Cammack is evidently not the only Republican to be critical of Graham, who is in favor of continuing to exert pressure on the crippled Iranian regime.

“I am deeply upset at the lack of respect for life Senator Lindsey Graham is displaying when talking about our troops,” Florida Rep. Anna Paulina Luna wrote on X in reaction to Graham’s remarks.

“He is acting as if they are expendable cattle. This is unacceptable and dark. There were over 26,000 American casualties at Iwo Jima,” the Air Force veteran wrote.

“Here’s what I’d tell President Trump,” Graham told Fox News in a recent interview. “Keep it up for a few more weeks, take Kharg Island, where all of the resources they have to produce oil [are]. Control that island. Let this regime die on a vine.”

Rep. Nancy Mace accused the South Carolina senator of representing the “Washington war machine” and has repeatedly blasted him in social media posts.
