Iran has a ready ally who is apparently willing to draw the ire of President Donald Trump, who is not shy when it comes to exercising the might of the U.S. military.
Yemen-based Houthi rebels have let it be known that they are ready to stand with the fanatical tyrants still in control in Iran, “threatening to open a new front along the Red Sea that serves as a key global trade route,” according to the New York Post.
“The Iran-backed terror group said that it would be ready to enter the fight at a moment’s notice following Tehran’s warning that the war could spread to the Bab al-Mandab Strait if the US launches a ground invasion,” the newspaper reported.
🚨😳 NOT THE HOUTHIS
Houthis terrorist leader Abdul-Malik al-Houthi warns the group is “not neutral” in the US-Israel war with Iran and is ready to intervene militarily if the conflict escalates further.

The Houthis are a Zaydi Shiite movement that has been fighting Yemen’s Sunni-majority government since 2004 and control much of the northern portion of the country — the Bab al-Mandab Strait, which Iran has threatened to seize, is a 20-mile-wide passage located southwest of Yemen
“The Bab al-Mandab Strait is considered one of the world’s strategic straits, and Iran has both the will and the ability to create a completely credible threat against it,” sources with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps told the Tasnim News Agency.
According to the Houthis, Iran is not only holding its own, but “defeating the enemy.”
“We stand fully militarily ready with all options,” a Houthi leader said. “As for other details having to do with determining zero hour, they are left to leadership, and we are monitoring and following up with the developments and will know when the suitable time is to move.”
“Until now Iran is doing well and is defeating the enemy every day and the battle is going in its direction. If anything contrary to this happens then we can assess,” the source added.
Social media users did not seem to be overly concerned about the impact the Houthis may have on the conflict — here’s a quick sampling of responses to the story, as seen on X:
They are kinda late to the party aren’t they?
