The root cause for the mad rush to abandon society’s traditional values can be found in the classroom, with left-wing ideologues often taking control of acceptable thought and action.
Look no further than an incident that took place in England, where an eighth-grade boy was reportedly admonished by his teacher for rejecting the notion that a person can identify as a cat — this coming at a time when so-called educated thought suggests gender is a social construct and people can choose to be male or female on little more than a whim.
The female teacher works at Rye College, a coeducational secondary school in East Sussex, according to the Telegraph.
“How dare you, you just really upset someone, saying things like that [you] should be in an asylum,” the teacher reportedly told the student.
“I didn’t say that. I said if they want to identify like a cat or something then they’re like genuinely unwell, they’re crazy,” the boy pushed back.

“You’re questioning their identity,” the teacher replied.
When the student said he was talking about gender not about any individual, she shot back, “Where did you get this idea from that there’s only two genders?”
She got very agitated when he said that was his opinion, insisting that it was not an opinion.
“There’s only a boy or a girl, there’s no other private parts,” the student countered.
Keep in mind, the vast majority of students would not have the temerity to stand up against a teacher challenging the very concept of reality.
“Gender is not linked to do — not linked to the parts you were born with. Gender is about how you identify,” she claimed, before saying there are “actually three biological sexes,” naming intersex as the third.
“There are lots of genders,” she added, before saying some people have no gender — again the student pushed back, saying “you can’t have that.”
“What do you mean you can’t have that, it’s not a law? You’re talking about the fact that cisgender is being normal, that you identify with the sex organ that you were born with… which is really despicable,” the teacher said.
She also said that it was “sad” after the boy pointed out that his mother agreed with him. Their exchange ramped up as she continued to ignore science and biology and the student stood firm in his beliefs.
“If you don’t like it, you need to go to different school, and I am reporting you to [the assistant headteacher],” the woman said. “You need to have a proper educational conversation about equality, diversity and inclusion because I’m not having that expressed in my lesson when I’m teaching you about you can be who you want to be and how you identify is up to you.”
The teacher concluded by trying to intimidate the boy by telling him he will probably have to write a statement explaining his behavior.
Rye College is part of Aquinas, an educational trust of eleven schools in the south-east UK, according to Fox News.
Aquinas released a statement to Fox News, which said,
“We are committed to offering our pupils an inclusive education. Teachers endeavor to ensure that pupils’ views are listened to, and encourage them to ask questions and engage in discussion. Teachers also aim to answer questions sensitively and honestly,” Aquinas said in a statement to the network. “We strive to uphold the highest standards across the school. We will be reviewing our processes and working with the relevant individuals to ensure such events do not take place in the future.”
What “events” the trust is referring to is not made clear.
Fittingly, mockery soon flowed in response to the story — here’s a quick sampling, as seen on Twitter:

Apparently it’s fine to identity as a cat and everyone should respect that…
So tonight, I shall and don’t you dare mock it, otherwise I’ll be calling the hate-speech police.
I’m Miaow-chelle to you. No misgendering please.
