Intoning the tough-guy persona of his cognitively impaired father, Hunter Biden brushed aside calls for a subpoena as he set a condition for congressional testimony to include the president’s son.
Monday, Utah Sen. John Curtis (R), Mitt Romney’s RINO successor, took aim at the families of both President Donald Trump and former President Joe Biden by urging the Senate Judiciary Committee to subpoena both Donald Trump Jr. and Hunter Biden. Tuesday, the Democrat heir responded with bravado, suggesting, “I’ll sit next to Don Jr. and testify any time, any place.”
As was reported, Curtis issued a letter to Judiciary Committee chair Iowa Sen. Chuck Grassley (R) and ranking member Illinois Sen. Dick Durbin (D) raising questions about the possible “use of presidential family relationships for private financial benefit, preferential treatment, or access by domestic and foreign interests.”
In response, Biden wrote on X, “Sen. Curtis of Utah has suggested that Don Jr. and I should testify before Congress. I say bring it on. I’ve already given more than seven hours of sworn testimony. More than three dozen witnesses testified across two chambers.”
“I had no foreign business dealings while my father was president. None. I painted paintings, and I still do,” he went on. “I’ll sit next to Don Jr. and testify any time, any place. Eric and Jared can join us too. No need for a subpoena. Let’s all do it tomorrow.”

Earlier in September, following her marriage into the First Family, newly-minted Bettina Trump defended a weekend hosted by Russian oligarch Umar Kremlev as “an extraordinarily generous wedding gift from a friend.”
“It’s unfortunate that something so personal and happy can be recast as something political or sinister simply because of who someone is or where they come from. Friendship doesn’t require a political motive. Generosity doesn’t automatically come with an agenda. And sometimes a wedding gift is simply a wedding gift,” she went on.
What followed was an attempted troll from Biden, stating on X, “Don Jr needed a Russian oligarch, two islands, and a fireworks show. I got married on the rooftop of an apartment building in West Hollywood. It was so much cooler.”
Meanwhile, as the former First Son garnered attention for his supposed willingness to appear before Congress anew, he also argued with commenters regarding his 2024 testimony before the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability.
In one response, Biden faulted lawmakers for choosing a closed-door testimony “because they had nothing and they knew it,” while another rebuttal reacted to the comment by seemingly referring to a separate appearance on Capitol Hill: “You walked out of the hearings you sh*tbag.”
“F*ck you I did,” countered Biden. “I testified for 7 hours behind closed doors under oath. I demanded they do it in front of the cameras and they wouldn’t.”
