‘I enjoy making men uncomfortable’: Critics predict ‘Disney’s biggest flop yet’ as feminist director’s past comments resurface

The next planned “Star Wars” film is already facing backlash years out from its release because of its female director’s misandrist bull.

The director, Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, is a feminist who appeared eight years ago at Tina Brown’s annual Women in the World Summit. During the summit, she explicitly bragged about how she likes to make men feel “uncomfortable.”

“I like to make men uncomfortable,” she said. “I enjoy making men uncomfortable. It is important to be able to look into the eyes of a man and say, ‘I am here’ and recognize that.'”

“And recognize that I am working to bring something that makes you uncomfortable, and it should make you uncomfortable because you need to change your attitude,” she added.

Given LucasFilm CEO Kathleen Kennedy’s already widely panned foray into “woke,” feminist nonsense, critics are now assuming the worst about the upcoming “Star Wars” film.

It doesn’t help that Obaid-Chinoy will be the first-ever woman directing a “Star Wars” film and that she’s purposefully chosen to make the lead character a woman as well.

“We’re in 2024. It’s about time we have a woman shape a story in a galaxy far, far away,” she recently told CNN.

Combined, these factors have critics convinced that the film is destined for failure. These critics include the hosts of and contributors to Fox News’ “Outnumbered,” several of whom predicted its failure this Thursday.

“Anything that she makes with this mentality is going to flop,” co-host Nicole Saphier said. “I’m a mother of three sons. I’ll tell you, it is my sons and my husband who are always wanting to watch Star Wars.”

“If her goal is to make men feel uncomfortable, guess what? They’re not going to watch it. And I’m certainly not going to be the one to pull it up. So just like Captain Marvel, when they try to put these women first agendas into these action movies, they flop,” she added.

Guest Ben Ferguson concurred.

“She [the director] missed her calling,” he said. “She should have done documentaries on making men feel uncomfortable. That’s where she could have made some cash here. You go into ‘Star Wars,’ and this is the reason why people are just walking away from Hollywood and just saying, ‘I’m not going to go see it.'”

“It will be a flop. Now, men that know this and watch this are not going to go now watch this movie and go, oh, I can’t wait to go see her make me feel uncomfortable and somehow implying that Star Wars needs to be fixed…Can you imagine if a dude said this on stage like, I love making women feel uncomfortable as I make movies….She does it and it’s like feminism. We’re all good to go,” he added.

Co-host Emily Compagno concluded the segment by saying, “That’s why I’m a Trekkie and not Star Wars!”

Many of the criticisms seen on the social media platform X mirror what was heard at Fox News.
