‘I hope they boycott her’: Megyn Kelly slams into Taylor Swift over attendance of pro-Hamas event

Having remained silent on the slaughter, Megyn Kelly ripped into Taylor Swift’s attendance at an event “contributing to the demonization of Israel” with the hope for a financially impactful response from fans.

“You clearly know nothing.”

Marketing herself into a billionaire through pop music, the mega star’s influence that crowned her Time Magazine’s Person of the Year has remained undeniable. So, when Swift and her celebrity pals chose to attend a comedy show with proceeds getting funneled to Gaza, Kelly couldn’t help but hope the entertainer’s fans pressured her into recognizing the atrocities she was aligning herself with.

“Taylor Swift owes Israelis and Jewish Americans an apology,” said the podcast host Tuesday during a discussion with author and commentator Andrew Klavan.

As Kelly explained, the pop star, along with Selena Gomez and Cara Delevigne, was spotted attending comedian Ramy Youssef’s show at the Brooklyn Academy of Music Friday to which the performer had stated “100% of the proceeds for the remainder of the…standup tour will be donated to ANERA, providing humanitarian relief to the people of Gaza.”

ANERA, American Near East Refugee Aid, as the podcast host described via NGO Monitor, was “highly political, presenting a highly biased view of the Israel/Palestine war, ignoring any Palestinian responsibility for hardship, and contributing to the demonization of Israel.”

“That is the group Taylor Swift thought it might be fun to help raise money for, attend a fundraiser for, and she owes Israelis and Jewish Americans an apology,” asserted Kelly.

“Taylor Swift, who has been out there tweeting about her support for the LGBTQ community– you know what they do to that community in Gaza, Taylor, that you now want to support?” asked the host rhetorically about the well-documented treatment of those practicing lifestyles considered deviant in the Middle East. “They’ll throw ’em off the top of a building. That’s what you’re contributing to.”

“You know what Hamas likes to do to women? You think we have equal rights over there, Taylor?” she continued railing. “Now has this benevolent woman…said one word about the mass murders that happened on 10/7 of Jews? Has she said anything about rape and sexual violence being used against the Israeli women as a tool of war, which in any world is a war crime?”

According to the non-partisan organization StopAntisemitism, “Since October 7th, Taylor Swift has made ZERO mentions of the massacre that occurred in Israel at the hands of Hamas terrorists. Her own bodyguard, who is charged with protecting her life, went to Israel to serve in the IDF.”

“Swift did, however, make the time to attend a Gaza fundraiser Friday evening with Selena Gomez. When will you attend a fundraiser for Israel @taylorswift13?” they asked.

Speaking to the power that fans who attend the artist’s concerts, buy her albums and see her movie, Kelly stated on the matter of an apology, “And I hope they boycott her events until she issues it because attending this thing was wrong. It was wrong.”

If she was unwilling to “Do some googling [to] see what they do in Gaza to gays and see about women’s rights in Gaza,” Kelly suggested Swift’s silence her virtue-signaling as, “when it comes to talking about those issues you clearly know nothing.”
