ICE reports ‘five-day operation’ resulted in arrest of 24 ‘sexual predators’

Recent events seem to prove that former President Donald Trump spoke correctly in 2015 when he said that other nations weren’t “sending their best.”

Case in point: An illegal alien sting run by immigration authorities last month in just one California metropolitan area turned up 24 sex offenders.

“Deportation officers from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) Los Angeles Field Office arrested two-dozen sexual predators during a five-day operation, which concluded June 17 in Los Angeles, Orange, Ventura, Santa Barbara, and Riverside Counties,” ICE reported in a press release filed this week.

“Those arrested had criminal histories or convictions for sexual abuse. Several individuals are registered sexual offenders. Everyone taken into custody is currently being detained pending the completion of removal proceedings, criminal prosecution, or removal from the United States.”

One of the arrested illegals, a 24-year-old alien from Guatemala, was convicted in 2020 of “felony lewd and lascivious acts with a child under 14.” Another illegal, this one a 55-year-old from Mexico, was convicted in 2010 of “misdemeanor sexual intercourse with a minor, misdemeanor sexual battery and misdemeanor annoying molesting a minor.”

In fact, almost every sex offender whom ICE arrested had a conviction involving children. And those who didn’t had convictions just as bad, e.g., “felony sodomy by use of force/injury” and “felony sexual penetration of an unconscious victim.”

Similar stings around the country have resulted in the same types of arrests:

For some reason, there appears to be a demonstrable link between illegal aliens and sex offenses, particularly sex offenses involving children.

This, incidentally, is exactly what former President Trump had warned about way back in 2015 when he announced his candidacy for president.

“When Mexico sends its people they’re not sending their best. They’re not sending you; they’re not sending you. They’re sending people that have lots of problems, and they’re bringing those problems with us. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists, and some, I assume, are good people. But I speak to border guards and they tell us what we’re getting,” he said at the time.

Eight years later, his words still ring true, as demonstrated not only by the sting in California but also by the situation up in Ohio and Indiana.

Recall that earlier this month, an Indiana-based abortion doctor went viral after she told the media that she’d received a call from “a child abuse doctor” in Ohio about a pregnant 10-year-old rape victim who needed an abortion but was unable to obtain it allegedly because of the state’s laws.

The girl subsequently traveled to Indiana and quietly got an abortion, the abortion doctor said.

Critics initially disbelieved the story, thinking it was just a ruse, but on Tuesday, The Columbus Dispatch confirmed that the story was indeed 100 percent legitimate and that the unnamed girl had, in fact, been raped by an illegal alien named Gerson Fuentes.

As noted above by Adam Shaw of Fox News, ICE has placed a detainer on Fuentes. It remains to be seen, however, whether he’ll actually be deported under this administration.

As previously reported, this administration has been releasing illegal aliens left and right.

“The latest Biden administration disclosures in Biden v. Texas reveal that in May, DHS released 95,318 migrants CBP had encountered at the Southwest border into the United States, bringing the total of illegal migrant releases there under the Biden administration to 1,049,532 — a population larger than the number of residents in the president’s home state of Delaware, at a rate of 2,115 per day,” the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) reported last month.

Moreover, last year this administration reportedly deprioritized the deportation of criminal illegal aliens, including sex offenders.

“Thousands of criminal illegal aliens, including those convicted of homicide and sex crimes, may evade deportation as internal records reveal that President Joe Biden’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) does not classify them as ‘priority’ for immigration enforcement,” Breitbart reported in May of 2021.

“Internal DHS records, obtained by Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich, show that thousands of criminal illegal aliens in Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) custody do not meet the Biden administration’s narrow requirements that allow federal agents to deport someone to their native country.”

Thanks to this administration’s policies, Fuentes may very well wind up staying in the United States for the long run, or at least until Republicans retake the White House …
