Ilhan Omar lets the cat out of the bag on Dems’ plans for DHS

The Democrats’ latest partial government shutdown may be rooted in their determination to neuter Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) from deporting their illegal alien voters, but they likely have their eyes on a much bigger prize.

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) let the cat out of the bag that her party isn’t just targeting ICE, but the whole enchilada of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) itself, an agency created in the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks to protect America.

“What I will say is that there is an easier conversation happening today than you know, six, seven years ago when I got to Congress about what we need to do with ICE, which is to abolish it,” the Somali-born Democrat told her audience at a Wednesday townhall.

“And, there is a lot of conversation about what the dismantlement of the Department of Homeland Security should look like,” Omar added.

Democrats have so far been able to conceal their apparent larger objective by keeping the conversation solely focused on ICE after the shooting of two militant left-wing activists in Minneapolis last month, with Renee Good and Alex Pretti being used as martyrs for the cause.

The town hall was the first for Omar since the “Squad” member was sprayed with apple cider vinegar in a highly suspicious incident last month that many believe was a staged hoax.

“Not snow or attacks will stop me from having these town halls,” Omar said, drawing applause from the crowd.

The ethically challenged congresswoman’s unusual honesty drew a strong response from X users.

That Omar and her fellow Democrats are hellbent on eliminating DHS with an attack on Iran seemingly imminent – along with an increased threat of Islamic terrorism – speaks volumes.
