Ilhan Omar says she personally put Biden on notice about the Muslim vote

It could be that the best way to coerce President Joe Biden into forcing a ceasefire in Gaza is by extorting him over the Muslim vote in next year’s election when he will be fighting for his political life.

With the pressure mounting on the White House to reign in Israel, “Squad” member Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) divulged that she had a “personal” chat with Biden over his troubled reelection bid and how much more difficult it would be without the Muslim voting bloc, one that has been devoutly loyal to Democrats.

During a weekend appearance on CBS Minnesota, the Somali-born congresswoman was asked about a movement by Muslim voters to dump Biden for his lack of support for the Hamas-led Palestinians and whether she would be supporting him.

“I recently had a conversation with the president,” she responded. “Muslims were very pivotal to his election, they mobilized in all the key states. Young people were very instrumental in getting him elected. And what I reminded him is that he needs to listen to these voices,” the Israel-hating leftist told WCCO anchor Esme Murphy, according to Fox News.

“People are heartbroken. It’s been really hard to have conversations about politics and policy. People just want the images of young children’s bodies that are piling up to end, and they want our support for this to end,” she added, invoking the vision of dead kids that has been the most potent propaganda tool for the Hamas terror organization which like Biden, is desperate to survive.

The left-wing bomb-thrower unloaded on Biden after the Jewish nation first retaliated against the Islamist savages who slaughtered over a thousand Israelis, butchering the elderly, women, and children in a cowardly sneak attack.

“Where is your humanity? Where is your outrage? Where is your care for people?” she raged at Biden at an October pro-Hamas rally in D.C.

Omar’s dishing on her warning to Biden comes as swing state Muslim leaders have launched an “#AbandonBiden” campaign over their fury at the geriatric Democrat’s reluctance to exert pressure on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Earlier this month, the Associated Press reported, “Leaders from Michigan, Minnesota, Arizona, Wisconsin, Florida, Georgia, Nevada and Pennsylvania gathered behind a lectern that read ‘Abandon Biden, ceasefire now’ in Dearborn, Michigan, the city with the largest concentration of Arab Americans in the United States.”

“Families and children are being wiped out with our tax dollars,” Jaylani Hussein, a Minneapolis-based organizer told the outlet. “What we are witnessing today is the tragedy upon tragedy.”

“The anger in our community is beyond belief,” he said. “One of the things that made us even more angry is the fact that most of us actually voted for President Biden. I even had one incident where a religious leader asked me, ‘How do I get my 2020 ballot so I can destroy it?”

During an appearance on Sunday morning’s edition of NBC’s “Meet the Press,” Rep. Debbie Dingell suggested that Biden has some sucking up to do if he expects Muslims to dutifully turn out at the polls next year to save his skin.

Host Kristen Welker asked the congresswoman, “Michigan has one of the largest Muslim populations in the country. Is there anything President Biden can do to win back those voters?”

“So there’s a lot that has to be done. And this is a very serious issue,” Dingell responded. “I lived in Dearborn for 40 years with the man that I loved. I moved last year because of redistricting. I know this community. They are hurting.”

“We’ve got to get a ceasefire. This has to stop,” she said, suggesting that Biden needs to get on board with the ceasefire or risk losing the Muslim vote.
