Ilhan Omar’s daughter makes pilgrimage to Cuba to celebrate Muslim holiday of Eid

While most college students descend on Florida for Spring Break, apparently the radical daughter of Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) prefers a location farther south than sunny Miami Beach.

The chosen travel destination of Isra Hirsi has drawn attention from X users after her social media post celebrating the Muslim holiday of Eid was fired off from Cuba, the longtime island bastion of communism, and the Mecca for cosplaying would-be revolutionaries.

The “Squad” member’s daughter was reportedly in Havana as a member of a pilgrimage from the New York City-based People’s Forum, a far-left organization that describes itself as a “movement incubator for working class and marginalized communities to build unity across historic lines of division at home and abroad.”

“We are an accessible educational and cultural space that nurtures the next generation of visionaries and organizers who believe that through collective action a new world is possible,” the organization describes itself on its website.

X users also spotted Hirsi on Casto Island, sharing pictures of the young rabble rouser at the event, which included the likes of bomb-throwing Muslim activist and podcaster Hasan Piker, former UK Labor leader Jeremy Corbyn, activists from CODE PINK, and other leftist influencers and journalists.

Omar’s daughter’s presence at the gathering of ersatz revolutionaries in Cuba was the least surprising news of the week, and X users shared their thoughts.

The youngster is a chip off the old block as she demonstrated when Hirsi participated in the antisemitic protests that roiled the campus of Columbia University in 2024, a hotbed of anti-Jewish hatred.
