Ilhan Omar’s daughter turns up at raided DC residence — but where’s the congresswoman?

As people try to figure out where Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., is currently at, it appears her daughters have been spotted at her raided residence.

The lawmaker has not been publicly spotted since her Washington, D.C., home was raided on Columbus Day, but according to Fox News Digital, there has been some activity at the location. Namely, her daughter Isra Hirsi “pulled black sedan into the driveway of the home under the cover of darkness Saturday night and stepped out of the vehicle carrying a bag with both hands.”

“What’s your problem?” she reportedly asked the outlet after getting out of the car.

“Just two days later, a young teenage girl believed to be Omar’s second daughter also was seen entering the home with a woman that appeared to be her caretaker,” Fox explained, adding that Omar’s son appears to be the only one who has not yet visited the home since it was descended upon by federal agents.

It’s also worth noting that the progressive lawmaker’s sister, Sahra Noor, failed to appear at a book signing event last week due to a “family emergency.” Fox News Digital reported that three sources confirmed she agreed to speak with federal investigators last week.

While other Democrats have come out in defense of Omar, with many accusing President Donald Trump of weaponizing the government to punish his ideological opponents, not everyone around her is on her side.

Majority Whip Tom Emmer, R-Minn., made his position clear on what should happen if she is convicted of lying on her federal immigration paperwork.

“I would say first she should probably serve time in the gray bar motel and then get the hell out of here. She should go back to where she came from,” if the allegations are true, he stated. “If it’s determined that she lied to gain citizenship, then absolutely, she should go back to the front of the line.”

Omar is currently being investigated for allegations that she lied on the paperwork, which currently states that she was 17 and would therefore have been qualified to receive citizenship along with her father. However, it is being claimed that she was actually 18 years old at the time and would have had to undergo the process on her own.

For her part, the lawmaker has not expressed concern about the investigation or potential charges that could stem from it. In an X post made shortly after the pre-dawn raid on her home, she assured supporters that she is “ok” and trashed the Trump administration for targeting her.

“I’m ok. Make no mistake: this is an attempt to target political enemies and weaponize federal law enforcement. For ten years, Trump has targeted me with baseless lies and smear campaigns. This is just the latest escalation in his campaign of political intimidation,” she said in an X post after the raid. “I will not be silenced.”
