Illegal alien released into US under Biden open border policy kills child in school bus crash: report

A Haitian illegal immigrant released into the US under President Biden’s open border policy has allegedly killed a child in a lethal school bus crash in Ohio.

According to Breitbart, a spokesperson from Immigration and Customs Enforcement has confirmed that Hermanio Joseph crossed the US-Mexico border in August 2022.

The Haitian citizen was driving a Honda Odyssey minivan when it allegedly veered across a road in Clark County, Ohio into the opposing lane and smashed into a school bus that was carrying children on their first day of school. The bus flipped over and an 11-year-old sixth-grade boy named Aiden Clark died after he was ejected. Twenty-three other children were injured. One of them has life-threatening injuries.

Details surrounding Joseph are confusing. He was originally reported to be from Springfield, which turned out to be not true. He also carried a Mexican license that was not valid because he was an illegal immigrant there as well. Joseph reportedly had an Ohio ID card on him.

He was originally taken into custody at the border and then kicked loose into the US with a “Notice to Appear” in federal court. Somehow, he wound up in Ohio.

Following being taken into custody for killing the child, ICE agents placed a detainer on Joseph requesting custody of him if he is released from Clark County custody at any time.

Joseph has been indicted on a charge of vehicular manslaughter and one charge of involuntary manslaughter. He has pleaded not guilty to the charges. Assistant county prosecutor Greg Morris commented that additional charges may be considered, pending the completion of the investigation against the illegal immigrant.

When the minivan hit the bus, there was reportedly also an unnamed 37-year-old passenger in his vehicle. He is not expected to be charged, according to prosecutors.

Joseph is being held on $100,000 bond at the Clark County jail. At his first hearing, the judge upheld the bond claiming that he was a flight risk due to his immigration status. He faces six to 12 months in prison and/or a $5,000 fine, according to court documents.

Aiden’s family described the boy as “a truly unique, caring, and inquisitive soul and was one of the most awesome and exceptional 11-year-olds in existence” in his obituary.

“His love of sports was unparalleled, his desire to gain knowledge never stopped, and his weird interests were inspiring and never-ending. From his daily vegetable gardening with his dad, trampoline jumping with his big sister, creating Minecraft worlds with his big bro, and always snuggling with mom. Aiden loved playing old-school board games, doing word searches by flashlight in bed, playing outdoor sports inside, chasing his dog, Daisy Mae, and snuggling with anyone,” the heart-breaking obituary read.

National Immigration Center for Enforcement (NICE) advisory board member John Fabbricatore told Breitbart News in an interview that Biden’s expansive catch-and-release network at the border was ultimately responsible for the child’s death.

“The Biden administration’s ‘welcome and release’ agenda continues to put our communities at risk,” Fabbricatore, a former senior ICE official, asserted. “Their goal is to let in as many poorly vetted illegal aliens as possible, often without proper GPS tracking or scheduled court appearances. When will this administration put public safety first, or is mass migration more important?”

President Biden has been slammed by conservatives since entering office for flinging the border wide open for all intents and purposes. He has mandated that those crossing illegally should be allowed into the country despite breaking the law and basically not being vetted.

Millions have come over the border and, in frustration, Republicans have shipped thousands of them to Democrat-controlled sanctuary cities.
