Illegal alien truck driver causes multiple casualties in pile-up on Cali highway

Under Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom, California leads the nation in issuing CDLs (Commercial Driver’s Licenses) to illegal or non-permanent resident immigrants, and Americans are dying on our roads as a result.

Just this week, Clark James Fojas, 20, and a 16-year-old from Stockton, were killed near Lodi when Manvir Singh failed to stop his fully loaded Freightliner, resulting in a deadly chain reaction crash.

Singh entered the U.S. illegally in 2023, according to federal authorities, and received a California CDL in March 2025 despite stricter federal rules for commercial licenses. The illegal immigrant took off running from the scene of the crash, according to the California Highway Patrol, but was taken into custody nearby and booked into jail. He now faces felony charges, including vehicular manslaughter, for the fatal accident that injured 5 others.

Prosecutors said there were no skid marks on the roadway, suggesting that Singh never tried to brake his big rig. The incident marks the fourth fatal crash this year involving Indian nationals without legal status holding U.S. CDLs.

Recently retired Border Patrol commander Greg Bovino responded to the post above, writing in part, “The American mind has been expertly hypnotized. We imported millions from countries where ‘driving’ means chaotic survival rules, no lanes, no signals, horns as brakes. Then we acted shocked when they bring those habits here—CDL in hand, fresh off the illegal entry. Now four Indian illegals with commercial licenses just racked up multiple deadly wrecks killing Americans. And the pattern repeats.”
