Illegal migrant charged in wrong-way DUI crash that killed 4 Oklahoma youths

Illegal alien Michael Rosario-Cruz was hit with an ICE detainer following an alleged drunk driving incident that ended 4 young lives.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol claims that an intoxicated Rosario-Cruz was driving the wrong way on a highway early Friday morning when he allegedly struck another vehicle head-on. The vehicle caught fire following the impact, and all four passengers inside were killed.

Haliegh Salazar and Brad Palmer, 18, Quincy Jones, 19, and Kiercey Hickson, 20, were identified as the victims of the crash, which authorities say is the result of Rosario-Cruz being drunk behind the wheel.

“Driving impaired is a reckless, life-changing decision,” said Highway Patrol in a social media post on the charges the illegal alien now faces. “The loss of these young lives will have a lasting impact on countless family members, friends, and communities.”

Rosario-Cruz now faces a list of charges, including “four counts of second-degree murder, two counts of DUI causing great bodily injury, transporting an open container, firearm possession, carrying firearms while under the influence, and driving the wrong way on a one-way road,” according to Fox News.

An Oklahoma Highway Patrol spokesperson revealed to Fox News Digital that the illegal alien is now the subject of a detainer request from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), which will begin deportation proceedings when he is released from custody.

Information on when he entered the United States, as well as his country of origin, is not currently available.
