Implicated billionaire jokingly threatened by his atty during Epstein testimony: ‘I’ll f**king kill you’

The lawyer of one of the deceased pedophile Jeffrey Epstein’s potential co-conspirators seemingly threatened his client this Wednesday.

The lawyer’s client, billionaire and former Victoria’s Secret CEO Leslie Wexner, 88, was called in that day for a closed-door deposition with the House Judiciary Committee concerning his ties to Epstein.

Wexner had allegedly helped Epstein build his grand wealth.

During Wednesday’s hearing, congressional Democrats asked Wexner to describe what Epstein had done for him.

Wexner replied by saying that he had needed somebody to “manage” his “personal stuff.”

“I wanted somebody who had accounting, not financial sense, cause I wasn’t looking to make more money, just someone to manage things,” he explained. “And then, coincidentally, drove down the street as I mentioned, met him, and asked him —I don’t know if it was six months later or a year later, something.”

“So we called him and said, remember when we met. I said, ‘I’ve got a guy running my stuff, personal stuff, cause I wanted to keep business away from personal,’ and said, ‘Could you take a look at it? You’re smart. You’re financially aware.’ And he said, ‘It’s not what I do, but…I’ll come and take a look.’ So, he started doing that,” he added.

“I never would have guessed I was being conned. Never, ever. The deceit was so subtle,” Wexner concluded.

This long-winded answer appeared to irritate Wexner’s attorney, who subsequently patted him on the shoulder and said, “Answer the question. I’m sure we all appreciate the stories, we’re just trying to answer the questions they actually want to be answered.”

Members of Congress then asked Wexner to explain how exactly Epstein had managed his finances.

As Wexner started spouting another long-winded answer, his attorney leaned in and said, “I’ll f–king kill you if you answer another question with more than five words, ok?

As seen/heard in the above clip, Wexner took the remark in good spirits.

Congressional Democrats remain convinced that he played a key role in financing Epstein. U.S. Rep. Robert Garcia argued Wexner played a central role in financing Epstein.

“There is no single person that was more involved in providing Jeffrey Epstein with the financial support to commit his crimes than Les Wexner,” Rep. Robert Garcia told reporters after the hearing.

“To be very clear, we know that approximately over a billion dollars, it looks like—it’s about a billion dollars—that was either transferred, provided in stocks, or given directly to Mr. Epstein by Wexner,” he added.

Garcia even claimed that “there would be no Epstein island, there would be no Epstein plane, there would be no money to traffic women and girls, Mr. Epstein would not be the wealthy man he was without the support of Les Wexner.”

During the hearing, Wexner maintained that he never set foot on Epstein’s notorious plane and that he only once ever visited Epstein’s infamous island while on a family cruise.

“He claimed he was on the island for one hour, and that he walked around with his family,” Rep. Yassamin Ansari told reporters after the hearing. “I asked if any other individuals were there, and he said no.”

Prior to the hearing, Wexner released a statement stressing that he’d been conned by Epstein.

“I was naïve, foolish, and gullible to put any trust in Jeffrey Epstein,” he said. “He was a con man. And while I was conned, I have done nothing wrong and have nothing to hide. I completely and irrevocably cut ties with Epstein nearly twenty years ago when I learned that he was an abuser, a crook, and a liar.”

Like other Democrats, Rep. Dave Min didn’t find Wexner’s claim believable.

“I can basically say that he has basically alleged that he ‘saw no evil, heard no evil,’ despite being in the room with Jeffrey Epstein over and over and over,” he told reporters. “And it’s really just not credible. I realize he’s an elderly gentleman; memories fade. But the reputation of Jeffrey Epstein is very clear.”
