Iran’s fact-fumbling propagandists are now claiming “the capability and the will” for copycat retaliation ahead of potential U.S.-Israeli strikes.
Following the Islamist regime’s refusal to uphold its end of the memorandum of understanding, U.S. strikes have continued against strategic targets. As the latest reports suggest, a joint operation with Israel is planned with aims of “going big” at Iran’s energy infrastructure; the state sponsors of terrorism contend they will do the same with “extensive response plans.”
The regime-affiliated Tasnim News Agency reported that a senior security official described potential strikes against Iran as “a kind of madness,” and that the Middle Eastern nation was prepared with “extensive response plans” while contending that Iran’s military possesses “the capability and the will” to attack the U.S. and Israel throughout the region.
From the American side, President Donald Trump addressed reports of upcoming strikes while speaking with the press during a cabinet meeting held at Camp David. At one point, in response to a question on a military proposal to “go big,” the commander-in-chief expressed, “We’re going big. We’ve already gone big.”
At another point, he made clear, “We just wanna win. We don’t wanna have them — it’s very simple: they cannot have a nuclear weapon. Iran will not have a nuclear weapon and they can’t have a nuclear weapon,” as he also affirmed on Friday, “We’ll be hitting them very hard.”

Reiterating the president’s statement, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said, “As President Trump said at his cabinet meeting today, the United States will win, and Iran will not have a nuclear weapon under his watch.”
Likewise, chief Pentagon spokesperson Sean Parnell stated, “The Department of War is locked and loaded, ready to execute the President’s directives at a moment’s notice.”
Regarding the suggestion that Iran currently has the capability to retaliate, U.S. Central Command has continued monitoring Iranian state media, leading to routine fact checks on claims like Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) control of the Strait of Hormuz and that the Islamist military shot down a number of U.S. aircraft, including three F-35 stealth fighters.
Over the past few hours, Iranian state media have continued to report false claims by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) – three in particular.

During the cabinet meeting, Trump spoke to the fact that the regime continued to prove uncooperative and untrustworthy, expressing, “Well, they always want to talk, but they break their words so often. All they do is make me angry.”

Meanwhile, seeming to prove that progress was possible in the Middle East, the president announced a “HISTORIC agreement” in Gaza as the Board of Peace reportedly convinced Hamas to disarm completely.
“This is a major milestone in the implementation of the Trump 20-Point Plan,” a statement read in part. “The agreement will be carried out in carefully structured phases. As disarmament is completed, Israeli forces will withdraw, and the International Stabilization Force will work with a new Palestinian police force to take responsibility for Gaza being safe for its residents and its neighbors.”
