An update on the status of the Strait of Hormuz found President Donald Trump vowing “MASSIVE” gains for the United States, contrasted starkly with the expected outcome for Iran.
For those who may have forgotten, the Islamist regime in Iran reminded us why you can’t reason with terrorists as it completely shredded the Memorandum of Understanding in favor of continued strikes against vessels and civilian targets. Amid nightly strikes against Iran’s offensive capabilities, the commander-in-chief announced a full blockade to keep the strait open while calling out the Middle Eastern nation’s actions as “taking them down the path of TOTAL DESTRUCTION.”
Sitting for an interview with Fox News chief foreign correspondent Trey Yingst, the president responded to a question about passage through the strait by saying, “It’s open if people want to go through it. We’re not opening it for Iran. That’s the only one it’s closed for… Now, a lot of things have happened, Trey, in the last few months — pipelines are being built. We’re coming up with great alternatives, including Texas, including Alaska.”

The remarks were published on the heels of a Tuesday morning Truth Social post in which Trump expressed, “Oil is flowing like never before, thanks to the awesome Power of the United States Military.”
Acknowledging the work of War Secretary Pete Hegseth, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Dan Caine and U.S. Central Command’s Admiral Brad Cooper, Trump said, “Because of them, and all members of the Most Powerful Military anywhere in the World, BY FAR, the Strait of Hormuz is open to ALL Ship traffic except for Iran — and that is because of their lying, violent, malicious leadership, which is taking them down the path of TOTAL DESTRUCTION.”

On top of announcing a “FULL Blockade” of ships from Iranian ports and those carrying Iranian cargo, the president withdrew his previous call for a 20% reimbursement fee for guarding the waterway, stating the Gulf States agreed to make trade and investment deals with America.
“Those Investments will be MASSIVE but, at the same time, extraordinarily good for them, and their future,” said Trump. “As everyone is aware, we have the largest Dollar Investment into the United States, of any Country in History, but these new Investments will make that Number even larger, and we will see Factories, Plants, and Equipment pour into the United States at Historic levels, which will create additional millions of High Paying AMERICAN Jobs!”
Referring to the leadership changes in Iran as “evil” following the elimination of its supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei at the beginning of Operation Epic Fury, the chief executive reminded, “Three days ago, we had a deal.”
“They wanna make a deal. But every time they make a deal, they break it. They don’t wanna die. People don’t wanna die,” added Trump, who cautioned, “You better make a deal. You’re not gonna have anybody left. We’re being very careful with the civilian population, as you know.”

In his post, the president concluded, “America is WINNING again, winning like never before. The days of Iran killing hundreds of thousands of people, including 52,000 protestors, are OVER and, most importantly, IRAN WILL NEVER HAVE A NUCLEAR WEAPON!”
