‘Irrelevant RINO, along with his daughter…’ Trump responds to Cheneys’ Kamala endorsement

Disgraced former Republican Rep. Liz Cheney and her father are facing the wrath of the right for endorsing Vice President Kamala Harris over former President Donald Trump.

The first endorsement came Thursday when Cheney announced she was endorsing Harris during an event at Duke University.

“As a conservative, as someone who believes in and cares about the Constitution, I have thought deeply about this, and because of the danger that Donald Trump poses, not only am I not voting for Donald Trump, but I’ll be voting for Kamala Harris,” she said.

Her father, former Vice President Dick Cheney, followed up with an endorsement of his own a day later.

“In our nation’s 248-year history, there has never been an individual who is a greater threat to our republic than Donald Trump,” he said. “He tried to steal the last election using lies and violence to keep himself in power after the voters had rejected him.”

“He can never be trusted with power again. As citizens, we each have a duty to put country above partisanship to defend our Constitution. That is why I will be casting my vote for Vice President Kamala Harris,” he added.

Their endorsements prompted immediate anger from the right, including from Trump himself, who excoriated both in a Truth Social post.

“Dick Cheney is an irrelevant RINO, along with his daughter, who lost by the largest margin in the History of Congressional Races!” he wrote. “They couldn’t get Scooter Libby, who did so much for them (but was so unfairly treated!), PARDONED. I did it! He’s the King of Endless, Nonsensical Wars, wasting Lives and Trillions of Dollars, just like Comrade Kamala Harris.”

“I am the Peace President, and only I will stop World War III! What Liz Cheney did with the Unselect Committee of Political Losers is unthinkable. She and her Unselects deleted and destroyed all evidence and information – IT’S GONE. Much of it proved that Nancy Pelosi was responsible for J6 – DIDN’T PROVIDE SECURITY. Cheney and the others should be prosecuted for what they did, but Comrade Kamala is even worse!” he added.

Many of his supporters followed suit by bashing Cheney on X.

“Imagine hating a personality so much… that you would publicly lend your influence and throw your support behind a COMMUNIST, just to spite the candidate you have personal beef with,” one critic wrote. “The Cheney’s are human pieces of garbage.”

“You are a disgusting, lying, traitor! You know Kamala is a Marxist communist and you have the unmitigated, f–king gall to support that piece of garbage. You are a f–king pig and care nothing for this country. You are a self serving b-tch!” another critic wrote.
