Thousands of immigration agents have reportedly been dispatched to the border crossing in San Diego to secure the area in preparation for a super-large upcoming immigration raid.
“There is a mile-long line of DHS trucks and CBP in front of Camp Pendleton right now, ready to do the biggest illegal immigrant grab in recent history,” a White House source told the Daily Mail.
“The West Coast is this week and the East Coast is next week. It is about to get crazy in California. They need to fill 100,000 spots,” meaning arrests are the directive. “They are going to be taking 100,000 immigrants back to Mexico, Columbia, El Salvador, and Guatemala in this grab,” they added.

Local station KGTV has also confirmed the congregation of immigration authorities in San Diego.
“Troops are on the ground in San Diego as part of President Donald Trump’s promise to crack down on the situation at the southern border,” the station reported Tuesday. “The troops were seen on Friday at the Imperial Beach Border Patrol Station.”
“Cameras caught tents, concertina wire, and trucks all lined up. Armed Marines were on the ground in what appeared to be a staging area,” the reporting continued.
The raids started over the weekend, with 956 illegals being arrested on Sunday alone, according to San Diego station KFMB.

“While local non-profits that assist migrants say it’s unclear how many of those arrests occurred specifically in San Diego County, [border czar Tom] Homan made it clear that this is just the beginning of increased enforcement efforts,” the station notes.
“If you’re in the country illegally, it’s not ok,” Homan has said about the raids. “It’s not ok to violate the laws of this country. If you’re in the country illegally, you’ve got a problem, and that’s why I’m hoping those who are in the country illegally who have not been ordered to be removed by a federal judge should leave.”
However, there have also been false reports, such as this false report about an immigration raid at a children’s hospital in San Diego:
ICE at Randy’s Children’s Hospital in San Diego. Trump and his cronies are inhuman. Are they kidnapping sick kids now? This literally sounds like something the Nazis would have done to Jews. Trump doesn’t see brown people as human. pic.twitter.com/vKTwPvuNXs

“Given the heightened sensitivity, it’s important for visitors to know that it is not uncommon to see Border Patrol agents and vehicles at the hospital,” the hospital said in a statement. “These agents are seeking care for minors in their custody and not conducting any immigration enforcement actions.”
The good news is that San Diego County Sheriff Kelly Martinez actually believes in the law and has therefore said she won’t follow a new county policy limiting cooperation between local police and federal immigration authorities.
“The policy, approved last month by the County Board of Supervisors, requires a federal judge to sign off before the Sheriff’s Office can transfer an inmate to ICE,” KFMB notes. “It also prohibits cooperation on lower-level federal civil immigration enforcement, such as cases where an immigrant overstays their visa.”
“The Board of Supervisors does not set policy for the Sheriff’s Office,” Martinez said in a statement after the County Board of Supervisors approved the measure. “As Sheriff, I will continue to follow state law.”
However, she also said she wouldn’t help with immigration raids.
“A deputy sheriff will never participate with Border Patrol or ICE in any immigration raids or anything similar to that,” she said. “We will just enforce state law. We do work with our federal partners to enforce those state laws, drug trafficking at the border, things like that. We share information related to state law violations.”
“It was a great start,” says Border Czar Tom Homan after the first full week implementing President Trump’s plan to secure the homeland — but there’s much more to come.
