Former President Donald Trump’s eldest daughter, Ivanka, publicly celebrated her grandmother’s birthday Wednesday with an Instagram post.
“Last week we celebrated my Grandma Babi’s 97th birthday We’re so lucky to have Babi living with us in Miami these last couple years ~ I’m thankful for every lesson, every story, and every game night where she still destroys us all at Jenga!” she wrote in the post.
“It’s the simple moments together that define the richness of life. I cherish every second!” she added.

The post contained four images. The first photo showed the elder Trump daughter kneeling beside her grandmother’s wheelchair. Two other photos included husband Jared and their three children. The final photo was just of her grandmother’s birthday cake.
Ivanka reportedly also shared some images to her Instagram Stories.
“One of the throwback photos shows Ivanka playing the piano as a little girl, surrounded by her mother, brothers, and grandmother. In the other more recent snapshot, she is posing with her grandmother while soaking up the sun on an outdoor patio,” the Daily Mail notes.
The Instagram post’s publication comes amid her father’s ever-worsening legal woes and numerous indictments.
Back in August, a source close to the Trump family told People magazine that none of them are worried about him potentially winding up in jail.
“Everyone knows he’s not going to jail. No one is worried,” the source said.
The source reportedly added that Ivanka and her husband, Jared Kushner, were “definitely not hiding” and “live right on the beach” in Miami, Florida, and they “seem like they don’t have a care in the world.”
As previously reported, Trump’s wife, former first lady Melania Trump, appears to also be living the private life, even amid her husband’s struggles.
“Melania publicly supports her husband but privately prefers a life with 100 percent privacy and no press scrutiny,” a source close to her told People magazine in August.
“She knows how her husband is but still believes there has been too much dumping on him and wants nothing to do with any of it. She hates all of the legal problems and says very little about them anytime anywhere. She leads her own life,” the source added.

According to People, Melania spent the majority of the summer in Manhattan, whereas her husband spent it playing golf in New Jersey, campaigning for president, and of course fighting a plethora of legal battles.
“Melania has a small circle of family and very few trusted friends. Unlike others who belong to her husband’s clubs, she doesn’t rely on outside stimulants to guide her daily life. She has her son, other family members, and select friends,” People’s source said.
“So this fourth indictment is another problem for her husband. Not for her,” the source added.
Another source said it’s unclear where the former first lady was on the night that the latest indictment was filed against her husband, but she certainly wasn’t with him at his Bedminster golf club.
Dovetailing back to Ivanka and her husband, they’ve been “missing in action” since the day Trump announced his reelection campaign in late 2022.
“When Trump launched his presidential campaign in November, Ivanka declined to attend, claiming she was ‘choosing to prioritize my children and the private life we are creating as a family’ over politics. She had tried to persuade her father to call off the rioting mob at the Capitol and gave evidence with Jared to the January 6 commission,” according to the Evening Standard.
“Since leaving the White House, Jared has managed to secure $2 billion in investment commitments for Affinity, his private equity firm, from the Saudi sovereign wealth fund (and $1 billion more from others). With money pouring in and Mohammed Bin Salman as a friend, perhaps they no longer need Big Daddy?” the British paper reported in August.
“Melania, 53, was out shopping in Manhattan last week in white sunglasses, white trousers, white Manolo Blahniks and a $6400 Chanel lambskin handbag. Her hair was sun-bleached. The message could almost be ‘I don’t care, do U?’ – the up-yours slogan on the back of her jacket when in 2018 she visited migrant children at the US border as first lady,” the Standard notes.
“Ivanka, 41, and Jared, 42, were spotted last week having fun with their children at a New York Mets game, swapping selfies on the field with the stars of the baseball team. Earlier this summer they were hanging out on a yacht with DJ David Guetta off the coast of Spain. So much for the notion that the Barbie and Ken of Trumpworld are persona non grata outside their home in Florida. When you are as wealthy as they are, nothing is off limits.”
