Jake Tapper shares damning message from Biden ‘adviser’ and social media smells a rat

The best evidence yet that the long knives are now out for President Joe Biden may be the role CNN anchor Jake Tapper has assumed.

Tapper, who played as much of a role as any media figure in elevating unpopular candidate Biden into the White House, is now at the front of the parade calling for the cognitively challenged 81-year-old president to step aside — not necessarily in his own words; Tapper has been around too long for that.

On Thursday, the CNN anchor shared a message from what he said was “a longtime Biden adviser.”

“I just think there is an unfortunate inevitability to all this. I am sad because I have known him for a long time and he is a good man,” the anonymous source purportedly said. “I am angry at his inner circle who have not served him well and at times committed malpractice in their service. And I am frustrated at the family for not expanding the circle so there would be a truth teller or two in their midst. They created the perfect storm of an echo chamber and it is biting them all in the ass.”

Does that sound anything like Barack Obama? Because there is plenty of talk that actor George Clooney’s bombshell New York Times op-ed calling on Biden to step aside was done with the former president’s quiet endorsement.

As for the statement, it continues to push the myth that Biden is a “good man.” The line of critics who would argue that assessment having witnessed Biden’s action over a 50-year career in Washington, D.C., would circle around the block.

The remarks act as if the concerns about Biden’s mental acuity are a sudden development, detracting from a four-year campaign by the media — to include Tapper — to mask his struggles.

Here’s a quick sampling of responses to the story, as seen on the social media platform X:
