James Woods on 2008 sucker punch Obama landed on America: ‘It’s over. We will never recover’

Conservative actor James Woods has become a Twitter legend for his epic takes and incisive commentary on the decline of the country under a hopelessly corrupt and failed political system and he has now expressed his opinion that it may be time to stick a fork in America because it’s done.

In a Saturday post to the social media platform reacting to a user who cited the numbers on the staggering cost inflicted upon taxpayers who foot the bill for the housing of illegal aliens in New York City, the 76-year-old Hollywood veteran lamented the sucker punch that was landed on America by Barack Obama, a wolf in sheep’s clothing, and the subsequent transformation of the nation into a grim third world dystopian hellhole as it has been overwhelmed by invaders who are pouring in as a result of Joe Biden’s open borders policies.

“It’s over. We will never recover. America was slowly bled to death starting in 2008, and the mission is already accomplished. The ‘radical transformation of America’ was promised and has been delivered. It was voted for, and there’s no turning back,” Woods wrote.

In the tweet shared by Woods, user James Bradley cites numbers that were recently reported by the New York Post on the tens of thousands of “asylum seekers” who are currently in the New York City shelter system, costing taxpayers nearly $8 million a day.

“DO THE MATH,” the user wrote. “Taxpayers pay about $7,900,000 million every day. EVERY. DAMN. DAY.”

“Now multiply that by every Democrat city (and some Republican ones too) in America and you can easily see why Joe Biden should be impeached and arrested,” he added. “Joe Biden is robbing the taxpayers BLIND and I’m fed up with the GOP allowing it to happen to us,” calling for the impeachment of the corrupt octogenarian Democrat, something that is unlikely to happen with Kevin McCarthy running the House and the Senate under Democrat control.

“As of this week, 98,400 people were being housed in city-run shelters — a population roughly equal to the size of Albany, according to City Hall’s latest headcount,” the New York Post reported. “Nearly half of them – 48,700 – are asylum seekers.”

“It costs roughly $385 a night to put up a migrant family in one of the city’s shelters, officials said – meaning the asylum-seeker crisis is setting taxpayers back about $7.9 million every day,” according to the outlet.

“The city is set to receive $104.6 million in grant funding from the Federal Emergency Management Agency to help cover its growing migrant expenses, but Mayor Adams has begged the Biden administration to foot the entire bill, which he estimates could cost as much as $4.5 billion,” the Post reported.

Woods has good reason for expressing a view that many might see as being overly pessimistic but the legendary actor has only served up a strong dose of reality without the sugar coating and he always calls it like he sees it.
