Jane Fonda appeals to climate zealots, pushes Harris-Walz ticket as ‘only hope’ to stop ‘orange man’

The latest hustle by “Hanoi Jane” had her doubling up doomsaying with a dire pitch to zealots on their “only hope” to stop “the orange man.”

From standing with the Vietnamese, the Black Panthers, and anti-Israel activists, actress Jane Fonda has spent a career espousing radical views. Friday, that record coupled with her political action committee to see her selling voters on the Harris-Walz ticket as the only way to prevent a supposed climate disaster under a second administration led by former President Donald Trump.

In yet another demographic breakdown virtual call, Fonda joined the likes of Massachusetts Sen. Ed Markey (D) and Washington Gov. Jay Inslee (D) as part of the “Climate Voters for Harris” talk hosted by behavioral scientist Sweta Chakraborty, Fox News reported.

Timed to mark the second anniversary of the signing of the Inflation Reduction Act the actress seemed particularly keen on pitting the Biden-Harris administration’s record against that of noted environmental attorney Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as she cautioned, “Sitting it out, voting for a third-party candidate, this is voting for the orange man.”

As Fonda encouraged participants to “vote with climate in their hearts” for “our only hope,” Chakraborty described the supposed excitement for Vice President Kamala Harris as “palpable” while Inslee argued, “Kamala Harris really gets this”

Sold as a call to discuss “the historic accomplishments of the IRA. We’ll hear messaging guidance and the best ways for Climate Voters to get involved in the campaign,” the virtual gathering promoted by the Jane Fonda Climate PAC only further tainted their credibility by including Biden’s jetsetting former climate czar John Kerry and celebrity science guy, Bill Nye, in the discussion.

“If we don’t transition off of fossil fuels, the climate crisis will cost our economy $38 TRILLION! We don’t have 4 years to lose!” claimed Fonda during the call.

That unfounded warning came mere weeks after she had also perpetuated the notion that Biden was “perfectly suited” for a second term.

“I can tell you that you do get wiser, and you do learn things; you learn from your mistakes,” she had said while joining a list of figures gaslighting over the president’s mental acuity only days before his debate disaster. “And I have seen him up close and personal, and he’s fine. He’s perfectly suited to be president of the United States. I don’t know because of, or in spite of the age, he’s just fine, and he’s someone we can work with, and that’s what we need. We don’t need a demi-god.”

Along with calling out the hypocrisy of the “rules for thee, but not for me” class of elitists who would see further regulatory impositions on average Americans that erode freedoms and cripple opportunity, like mandates on emissions standards for vehicles and home appliances while continuing to travel the world in private jets, social media users slammed Fonda herself for her record of bad takes.
