Jasmine Crockett asks if Trump shooter was not scrutinized because he was white

Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle was grilled by lawmakers on Capitol Hill on Monday and of course, House Democrats turned the hearing into another of their clown shows.

Republican lawmakers sought answers from the evasive bureaucrat over her agency’s inexplicable failure to protect former President Donald J. Trump who was nearly assassinated and at one point, trash-talking drama queen Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) made the inability to stop the shooter all about race.

In a sad example of the dismal quality of the new crop of left-wing congresspeople, Crockett suggested that the reason why 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks was able to evade detection when he should have been a flashing blip on the radar is that as a white person, he had the privilege of not being scrutinized like he would have been if he was black.

“One of my questions has to do with if you have any bias training that your officers undergo?” Crockett began. “And the reason that I ask that is because as a civil rights lawyer, I have learned so many times in having to deal with law enforcement that there usually is not a perception of a threat when it is a young, white, male,” she added, ticking off her fingers for emphasis.

“Even if they are carrying a long gun,” the congresswoman continued, “Yet a lot of times – at least in this country – when it comes to law enforcement, there is a perceived threat just by somebody having a little bit more melanin in their skin…”

The astounding lack of decorum from the serial race-baiter who tried to hijack a hearing that was supposed to be about congressional oversight to promote her anti-whitey activism was slammed by X users.

Also acting like a fool during the hearing was Hamas mouthpiece Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) who hammed it up in a rant about Trump’s near assassination meriting a hearing and not other shooting victims in a shameless performance.

The new breed of Democrats is showing that the “C” in Congress should stand for “clown.”
