Jasmine Crockett bites back at Fetterman after his brutal mocking: ‘I don’t show up in hoodies …’

The Democrat civil war spilled over onto the Sunday morning shows when the reeling party’s de facto leader Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) unloaded on Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) after he criticized her and other performative lawmakers.

Crockett was once again given a high-profile platform on CNN’s “State of the Union” where partisan anchor Jake Tapper practically swooned over her presence and during the interview, brought up the Pennsylvania senator’s remarks about the widely ridiculed TikTok “Choose Your Fighter” video featuring her, AOC and several other female Democrats striking poses like they were members of Marvel’s mighty Avengers as well as their antics during President Trump’s speech to Congress.

Fetterman called the video “bizarre” and he also opined on the “BINGO” signs displayed as a protest by Democrat lawmakers during the president’s speech to a joint session of Congress as “A sad cavalcade of self owns and unhinged petulance.”

“Fetterman has been criticizing your party for ‘undignified antics and a sad cavalcade of self-owns’ during the president’s address to Congress,” Tapper asked. “What’s your response to Senator Fetterman?”

“He’s not the one to talk about anything,” laughed the Democrats’ new rock star. “I mean, this is a guy that doesn’t seemingly want to own a suit. own a suit, I’m not really sure, but I don’t show up in hoodies when I’m going on the floor.”

Crockett was of course referring to Fetterman’s lack of a fashionable wardrobe, preferring to show up for work dressed like a vagrant from a homeless encampment in his grungy hoodies, gym shorts, and tennis shoes, slobbish attire unbecoming for a sitting United States senator that Democrats have spent years making excuses for and accusing critics of ableism.

In addition to Crockett and Ocasio-Cortez, the ridiculous video included Reps. Judy Chu (D-CA), Katherine Clark (D-MA), Susie Lee (D-NV), and Lauren Underwood (D-IL).

During her Sunday morning CNN appearance, Crockett also told the fawning Tapper that Trump could cancel the 2028 election, an outlandish claim that went unchallenged.

After being asked if she believed that AOC should challenge Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) for his Senate seat, Crockett suggested that there may not even be elections when the primary would be held.

“That’s four years from now. If you were asking me, at least in two years, then I would have an absolute answer,” she said. “But I can tell you that there are a lot of people that are watching his leadership in this moment. This is the moment. We don’t even know what elections will look like in four years, if we will have elections.”

“We’re becoming the metaphorical car alarms that nobody pays attention to—and it may not be the winning message,” Fetterman wrote on X, calling out the Democrat antics during Trump’s speech which also featured Rep. Al Green (D-TX) being kicked out of the chamber after he yelled at the president and waved his cane.

As bad as getting wiped out in the 2024 election was for the Democrats, they are only doing more damage to their brand by allowing Crockett to be their most visible media presence and firing shots at Fetterman for his frank criticism of the progressive clown show. It further contributes to the fracturing of a party engulfed in a full-blown crisis.
