JD Vance goes through grueling training with Navy SEALs team

When he’s not trolling leftists, Vice President JD Vance can be found joining Navy SEAL workouts.

Vance joined other members of the Trump administration, such as HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, in promoting the importance of good physical health. But not everyone is cut out to join SEAL training, Vance found out, as the workout left him feeling like he “got hit by a freight train.” He posted about the experience on X Monday morning, expressing his gratitude for those who joined the armed forces to keep America safe.

Look:

“Just finished PT with the Navy SEALs for 90 minutes (I’ll post some photos when I get them). They took it easy on me and I still feel like I got hit by a freight train. So grateful to all of our warriors who keep us safe and keep the highest standards anywhere in the world!” he wrote.

Images of the workout show the vice president participating in such workouts as “carrying logs, rowing in the ocean, running on the beach, and climbing a rope obstacle course,” according to Fox News.

Vance is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, enlisting in 2003 and serving during the Iraq War, where he was deployed in 2005 with the 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing. He has previously discussed his service as something that has helped shape his public policies, foreign and domestic, including the seriousness of starting and continuing wars.

This comes after Hegseth kicked the proverbial hornet’s nest by insisting the military brass should be “fit, not fat,” which drew the ire of those like California Governor Gavin Newsom. The leftist leader insisted this also meant President Donald Trump, America’s 79-year-old Commander-in-Chief.
