President Joe Biden’s declaration that the holiest day of the year for Christians would have to compete with transgenders for attention has blown up in the administration’s face bigly and the White House is in damage control mode.
On Good Friday, the White House announced a proclamation signed by the geriatric culture warrior-in-chief that March 31 would be officially recognized as Transgender Day of Visibility. However there was one major problem: it was also Easter Day, the celebration of Jesus Christ’s resurrection.
The proclamation was met with outrage and cleanup efforts are ongoing with Biden surrogates seeking to downplay the significance of what many rightly see as blasphemy and on Monday, the president’s chief liar, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre blamed it a familiar culprit, Republican misinformation.

“So, the criticism over the Transgender Day of Visibility, the White House said that the President wouldn’t abuse his faith for political purposes. Does the President think that’s what Republicans are doing on this issue?” Jean-Pierre was asked by a reporter in what some cynics might suggest was a planted question.
“I mean look, just a couple of things and really…so surprised by the misinformation that’s been out there around this,” she replied. “And I want to be very clear, every year for the past several years on March 31st, Transgender Day of Visibility is March.”
“And as we know, for folks who understand the calendar and how it works,” Jean-Pierre huffed with condescension, “Easter falls on different Sundays, right, every year. And this year, it happened to coincide with trans…Transgender Visibility Day. And so that is the simple fact, that is what has happened. That is where we are.”
The spin from Jean-Pierre and the Biden-Harris winged monkeys in the media is that one of the special days for the special people is always on March 31 and this year, Easter just happened to fall on the same date, but why the official proclamation if it wasn’t intended to be deliberately inflammatory?
“And I do want to say a couple of things, because I think it’s important here,” Jean-Pierre continued. “As you just stated in your question, what we’ve been hearing out there — a lot of misinformation done on purpose, and as a Christian who celebrates Easter with family, President Biden stands for bringing people together and upholding the dignity and freedoms of every American,” she said, just shoveling the B.S. into the briefing room.
“Now, sadly — and it’s not surprising, right? It is actually unsurprising that politicians are seeking to divide and weaken our country with cruel, hateful, and dishonest rhetoric. It is dishonest what we have heard the past 24 hours. It is untrue what we heard over the weekend,” she claimed.
Biden’s prized diversity hire’s “proof” that it’s being blown out of proportion? Fox also acknowledged it – but not Fox News as she is suggesting in a hoax that will be endlessly referenced on cable networks and social media.
Trans Day of Visibility is dedicated to celebrating transgender people, their contributions to society and raising awareness of discrimination they face. To all the transgender men, women and non-binary folx, we see you and stand with you. #TransDayOfVisibility #TVForAll pic.twitter.com/qpYIucSRya

“As a Christian who celebrates Easter with family, President Biden stands for bringing people together and upholding the dignity and freedoms of every American,” said White House spokesperson Andrew Bates said in a statement. “Sadly, it’s unsurprising politicians are seeking to divide and weaken our country with cruel, hateful, and dishonest rhetoric. President Biden will never abuse his faith for political purposes or for profit.”
