Former White House press secretary Jen Psaki may no longer be President Joe Biden’s top spox but she’s still slinging the malarkey in her new job at MSNBC and judging by her latest wild claim, it seems like the left-wing network’s conspiracy queen Rachel Maddow may be rubbing off on her.
The growing backlash against predators and perverts in classrooms and the sexualizing of children has Democrats going into defense mode for what, next to depriving the unborn of the right to life, has become the most important tenet of the left’s poisonous ideology, digging in to protect the seduction of the young and vulnerable into the cult of transgenderism and throwing a previously protected group overboard for its religious-based opposition to the grooming of kids.
Some of the strongest resistance to homosexual/transgender indoctrination in schools has come from Muslims, and Psaki uncorked a sinister conspiracy theory that Republicans are slyly manipulating those of the Islamic faith to be weapons against the very special people, reaching back into history to lay out a narrative that will likely gain traction going forward.

“So, lately, I’ve been noticing the reemergence of a very old GOP playbook that harkens back to President Richard Nixon’s infamous southern strategy,” Psaki said before rehashing the big lie that Republicans have crafted their appeal to white southerners by “playing to their fears of African Americans and the civil rights movement.”
“Now, decades later, the right wing is reviving that same playbook,” she claimed. “This time, with Muslim Americans and trans people. Hear me out, here, the GOP is trying to recruit Muslim Americans, a community that makes up less than two percent of the U.S. population, against another tiny marginalized group of Americans, transgender people.”
“It’s important to remember that back in 2011 during the Republican primary, the right-wing had designated Muslim Americans as public enemy number one. No surprise, given that conspiracy theorists, remember the birthers? I do! Had been trying for years to portray President Obama as a trojan horse for Sharia law,” Psaki continued. “Republican after Republican candidate ginned up fear about the fabricated threat posed by an Islamic legal doctrine debated by scholars for centuries. To them the imaginary prospect of sharia law in this country was scarier than gun violence, climate change, and more important to discuss than, say, millions of people who didn’t have health care,” she then played a series of cherry-picked clips of Republicans warning of the Islamic law.
And she just had to mix in former President Donald J. Trump as a jolt to mouth-breathing MSNBC viewers.
“Of course, there was no chance Sharia law was going to be implemented in the United States. Now, Trump’s origin story is the birther movement is a part of that. But all of this also set the stage for him to make this declaration as a candidate in 2015,” she continued, playing a truncated, out-of-context clip of the ex-POTUS who after his election, moved to implement a travel ban from a number of terrorist hotbeds while also mixing in more selectively edited footage of Fox News host Laura Ingraham and Trump to bolster her case of the nefariousness of the GOP.
“Now, fast forward eight years and the right-wing has focused their fear mongering on trans people. And who better to go after the new enemy than the old enemy?” Psaki said.
Psaki then featured some quotes from former Alabama Governor George Wallace, a frequently invoked boogeyman despite his being a Democrat, a man whom President Joe Biden once boasted about receiving praise from.

“So, let’s be clear. This is the same old GOP playbook, another cynical ploy to tear at the fabric of our society, and damage the idea that out of many, we are one, all because they want so desperately to regain the White House,” she said.
