Jessica Tarlov takes the cheapest of shots at Joey Jones after he shreds her gun control narrative

A Fox News debate about gun control led to an ugly on-air moment when Jessica Tarlov took a cheap shot at wounded combat veteran Johnny “Joey” Jones.

Tarlov set off fierce backlash from viewers for her attack on Jones, a Fox News contributor, after he destroyed the gun narrative she and her fellow leftists have peddled, most recently in the wake of the mass shooting in Minnesota that left two children dead.

Jones, a Marine Corps veteran who lost both of his legs in Afghanistan, delivered an epic truth bomb to Tarlov after she focused on guns while discussing the attack on children gathered for prayer at a Minneapolis Catholic church this week.

“I’m sorry, you want me to prove I’m not evil to own a gun, but you want to call me a bigot because I want to prove you’re not crazy to change your identity? I don’t get that,” Jones said.

“So what you’re saying is you want me to ban five percent of the guns in this country that are used in four percent of homicides, and that’s going to save our kids? No,” he told Tarlov. “Is it going to stop incidents like this? No! Because they’re already out there. Is it going to stop Democrats from using incidents like this…To create fear and try to win an election. No, because they still say we want to prevent gay people from getting married and that’s been burning for a long time.”

“What it’s going to do is stop people like me from going ahead and buying a gun from someone I know to be law-abiding…That’s my right. That’s the right of 300 million Americans. It’s protected in the Constitution,” Jones reminded.

He continued his epic takedown of the left’s narrative, going on to point to President Donald Trump’s efforts to combat crime in American cities and the efforts “mandating fortification of our most precious individuals in this country.”

“If you want to save children’s lives, pay attention to what President Trump’s doing…Because banning five percent of guns used in four percent of homicides is bullcr-p,” he told Tarlov.

“If your kid was one of that four percent, I think you would be singing a different tune. So lucky you,” she shot back.

“Absolutely lucky me! I will go to bed tonight and thank God on my knees that don’t exist anymore that my child is still alive, and any Democrat politician that says I’m wrong for praying, God help you,” Jones exclaimed.

“Now, you’ve played the leg card and I can say no more,” Tarlov said, igniting fiery responses on social media.
