Jewish conservative activist Lizzy Benichou spoke out after being attacked in a video that quickly went viral.
Benichou was engaging in an open debate on the University of Michigan campus when a young woman shoved her to the ground and attempted to continue attacking her before being swiftly detained and then arrested by a nearby officer. Video also shows the suspect slapping another influencer in the group with her phone while aggressively clapping and screaming in his face.
As the suspect is being placed in the police vehicle, she screams “I should have killed you when I had the chance” at Benichou.

The crazed woman was arrested and processed, then released while a warrant is authorized.
“Officers witnessed a University of Michigan student push a woman to the ground. The student was taken into custody, processed and released pending warrant authorization. The victim, who is not affiliated with the university, later sought medical treatment,” said University of Michigan police deputy chief Melissa Overton in a statement.
Benichou joined Fox & Friends on Monday to recount the attack and how it all started.
“She would be happy to go back if it meant she got to kill me.”

“She slapped Joe [Redden] in the face with her phone. Then she came up towards me and I told her, ‘You would not be able to do this in Iran,'” she explained.
“I think [Cam Higby] said, ‘She wouldn’t be allowed to be dressed like this,'” Benichou recalled. “I had also said, ‘If you were in Iran dressed like this, what would happen to you?’ And there were some Jordanian students next to me, and I asked them, ‘Am I right?’ And then she just lunged.”
She said she felt sore after being shoved on Sunday, and the entire incident has been forwarded to the Washtenaw County Prosecutor’s Office.
As for how the attack will impact her plans to have similar discussions on campuses, Benichou was clear.
“It will definitely not dissuade me,” she said.
