Ex-CNN host Jim Acosta made a lame attempt at stand-up comedy while attending a “No Kings” rally in Washington, D.C.
His material basically implied that President Donald Trump is gay and poked fun at a leftist conspiracy theory about him having an affair with his executive assistant, Natalie Harp. Not exactly the most groundbreaking set in comedy history, but what do you expect?

“Donald Trump was at this rally in Ohio, did you see this the other day? He’s in Ohio and he’s talking about this guy’s ass! Did you see that?” he asked the crowd, to some laughs. “He was talking about the guy who’s running for the Senate in Ohio who’s about to lose to Sherrod Brown (D) — oh yeah, there’s an election coming. Anyway, Trump’s talking about what a nice ass he has; did you see that the other day?”
He was referring to comments from the president about Sen. Jon Husted, R-Ohio, a former college football player, during a rally last Monday.
“I’m standing over here, and I don’t do this with men very often. I started examining his body because I didn’t know he was a great athlete. And I looked, and I watched him up and down. I looked at his ass and I looked at the whole– and then I looked at his hands. Look at his hands. He’s got these, like, claws. And I got it. You are a great athlete. I didn’t know that because he doesn’t talk about that. Congratulations. Now, they finally know. That was very good,” Trump said.
Acosta then cracked his punchline: “I don’t think Natalie Harp has anything to worry about. That’s just me.”
