Jim Acosta’s latest attention-seeking stunt supplies fresh mock-worthy material

Long-time media shill, Jim Acosta, has taken attention-seeking to new and pathetic levels.

The ex-CNN anchor apparently took a break from his podcasting headquarters to report on the streets of Washington, D.C., and pulled a ridiculous stunt to make sure people would notice.

They did.

Remember, not all attention is good attention, and Acosta’s toilet tour was flushed on X:

Truth.

Some suspected Acosta’s stunt was a symptom of TDS:

Acosta praised the sign that read “okay, cholesterol, do your job,” “very funny” and “very clever,” on his podcast.

Acosta left CNN in January 2025 after CNN chief Mark Thompson demoted him from a 10am to a midnight slot. The move by CNN was rumored at the time to be appease Trump, Breitbart reported.

FCC Chair Brendan Carr credited Trump earlier this month for “challenging legacy news organizations directly rather than accepting their framing of political issues. He added, “You start to see the consequences of him deciding that, you know, the legacy media is the emperor with no clothes. You see all sorts of changes now, right? A lot of these legacy reporters, from Jim Acosta to Don Lemon, losing their jobs. ”

And are now reporting from toilets and terrifying families in churches.
