President-elect Donald Trump will be entering office at a time when political tensions are very high, but podcaster Joe Rogan has some advice for him
During a recent episode with Dave Smith, Rogan encouraged Trump to unite people during his final term in office rather than engage in his usual style of mockery and attacks on the left.
“This one is one of the first times ever where there’s a real chance to make real tangible change that’s gonna be for the good of everybody,” Rogan noted. “He’s gotta unite people. He’s gotta not attack the left, not attack everybody. Let them all talk their s***, but unite. Now it’s time to unite everybody.”

Rogan reasoned that Trump is going to be bringing heavy hitters like Tulsi Gabbard, Elon Musk, and Robert F Kennedy Jr. into his campaign, so it’s important to put the screeching leftists on the back burner and enact real change for the American people. He also recognized that Trump’s entire character has been the “You’re fired!” guy so it’s unlikely he’s going to “course correct” at the drop of a hat.
This wasn’t a stance that was popular with everyone and X comments on the subject are mixed:
Joe Rogan is very naive! The people who have been going after President Trump/MAGA will only stop until some of the higher-ups see justice in a court of law! There’s no uniting with the radical left; someone must tell Joe to wake up and smell the coffee! If not for President…

Don’t attack them, but drain the swamp and prosecute every one that actually broke real laws.

I don’t know where this dumbass “unite” message is coming from, but it has to Stop! The Left has never and will never try to unite with anyone. It’s their way or the highway.
The only logical thing to do is put the pedal to the metal and ram home the conservative agenda.— AllentheIrish (@combatflyinfish) November 8, 2024
He doesn’t need to attack in front of them media, but behind the scenes #Trump needs to destroy the deep state, all those involved in all the BS he had to endure since he first became POTUS. He needs to drain the swamp & get all those people fired or prosecuted, Its time.

Yeah. Let’s unite with the people who tried to bankrupt him, jail him and murder him. Now is the time to break the wheel …. Being the “uniter” with a party who will stab your children in the throat to accumulate and retain power is not what is needed to fix this country.

Sensible advice that will be promptly ignored.

Trump should just ignore his critics. Just go about the business of working directly for the people who placed you in power for a reason. The biggest insult would be to ignore them. Because they crave your attention and any response you have towards them. They’ll use it to…
