Joe Rogan: ‘I don’t go to Canada anymore. I’d rather go to Russia’

Podcaster Joe Rogan said he would “rather go to Russia” than attend an Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) even in Canada.

When he’s not discussing every issue under the sun with his wide variety of guests on his podcasts, Rogan is also a UFC commentator. However, he recently stated that he would not be attending May’s UFC 315 in Montreal, Canada.

Watch:

“I won’t be there. I don’t go to Canada anymore,” the host said.

“I’d rather go to Russia,” he added, as his guest joked about Canada becoming the 51st state in the United States.

“It’ll never happen,” Rogan chuckled.

“That’s so crazy, [Trump] asked them to be the 51st state. I had a conversation with Trump about it,” he revealed.

“‘I started calling him Governor Trudeau just for fun, a lot of people are saying it’s a good idea,’” he said of Trump’s response. “Maybe it is a good idea.”
