President Donald Trump’s 80th birthday this year has podcast host Joe Rogan thinking it’s “spooky” to have aging leaders making critical decisions.
The topic came up on the Joe Rogan Experience on Wednesday as guest Francis Foster was commenting on the ouster of former Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro, who was captured in a U.S. military operation in January.
“He literally said to Trump, he said to America, ‘I’m not going to do what you say. Go f*** yourself. Come and get me,'” the British comedian and podcast host said.

“Like he was antagonizing the Americans and their allies consistently,” Kisin continued on Maduro. “He made himself so vulnerable. so vulnerable.”
“Who looks at Trump and goes, ‘Yeah, let’s f*** with that guy,'” Rogan’s other guest, British author and podcaster Konstantin Kisin, joked.
“Right, he’s 80, he doesn’t have much to lose,” Rogan chimed in. “That’s the scary thing about an old leader. It’s like, death is imminent. It’s within a decade, if you’re lucky.”
“That’s spooky. That’s spooky,” Rogan continued as he mused about Trump, who will turn 80 on June 14. “You’re making decisions for babies and children and the future of the world, if everything goes great.”
Foster noted “cognitive functions,” adding, “I’m not saying that he’s got dementia or anything like that, but you’re just not as sharp when you’re that age as you are when you’re younger.”
“When I think about how much Barack Obama aged, how much Tony Blair aged. Trump has not aged like that,” Kisin observed.
“Yeah. And he has a terrible diet. I mean, especially when he’s on the road, he just eats junk food,” Rogan added.
“But this is my point, like Trump hasn’t aged like much younger men,” Kisin reiterated, to which Rogan expressed that it’s “even crazier because you consider he doesn’t exercise,” as his guest noted that the president has been under stress from all that he has gone through.
