Asked on Monday whether he fears that left-wing activists will “come after” his kids and put them “at harm,” longtime country music singer-songwriter John Rich replied with a furious tirade so potent that it left many quaking in stunned agreement.

Rich was asked the question during an appearance on “Timcast IRL,” a YouTube talk show that airs Monday through Friday and is hosted by non-establishment commentator Tim Pool.

Rich’s first eight words said in response to the question set the mood for his whole response: “They better fear ever coming after my kids!” he said.

“I’ll let you come after me all you want to. You leave my family alone. We will die for our families. We’ll die. If you said John, you were them, snap your fingers and take me out of here. I mean, right now. As my daddy would say, who’s a quasi-Pentecostal style prison preacher, that I would charge hell wearing my gasoline suit with my water pistol blazing if you ever jack with my family,” he continued.

“And that’s what they don’t understand in this country — these liberals and people running our country — that there is a fierce love and dedication and responsibility that we have as parents, that you step over that line and you start messing with my kids, there is no boundaries anymore between us.”

Listen to his remarks below:

“You want full-contact sport? You want to raise the stakes on what you’re doing to our kids and how you’re, in my opinion, assaulting them in all these ways. You’re going to assault my kids? Why don’t you try to assault me one time? I’m going to step in front of these little kids. Now you’re going to deal with a grown-ass man and a grown-ass woman who got nothing to lose and don’t care what you have to think about it,” Rich continued.

“This is where America is going. Whatever look I have in my eye right now because I know what I’m saying I’m feeling it down in my guts, that is what tens of millions, if not more, Americans are feeling right now regardless of their politics, regardless of who they voted for or what they think about Trump or Biden. You mess with our kids, you’ve got a world of hurt coming your way this fall,” Rich asserted.

The evidence suggests he’s right.

From forcing little children to needlessly mask up to indoctrinating kids in racial essentialism and radical transgender ideology, the establishment left has pushed so far toward the extreme that they’ve left a trail of livid parents aching for payback.

For a piece published in Bari Weiss’ Substack two months ago, for instance, independent journalist Suzy Weiss spoke to a number of lifelong liberal American mothers who’ve turned against the Democrat Party because of their COVID zealotry.

One Upper West Side mother, Natalya Murakhver, had this to say: “I was a very liberal Democrat. Now, my vote is up for grabs to whoever puts kids first.”

The anger has only further mushroomed thanks to the establishment left’s opposition to Florida’s Parental Rights in Education bill.

The law simply prohibits teachers from engaging in inappropriate discussions about sex/gender with all school kids, but particularly those in third grade or under.

Despite the noble intent of the bill, it’s come under heavy assault from the establishment left, with congressional Democrats and their media and Hollywood allies all joining forces to portray the bill as illiberal.

Yet polls have consistently shown that a majority of Florida voters, including Democrat voters, support the bill:

Recall what former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin said in 2010: “You don’t want to mess with moms who are rising up. If you thought pit bulls were tough, you don’t want to mess with mama grizzlies.”

It appears she had a point. Except, of course, that she’d forgotten to also factor in papa grizzlies like John Rich …
