Left-wing comedian Jon Stewart accused Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) of brutalizing grannies and zip-tying kids, branding them as a “paramilitary” force during a vitriolic rant chock full of incendiary rhetoric.
On Monday’s edition of “The Daily Show,” Stewart urged Senate Democrats to stiffen their spines to continue the “Schumer shutdown” and hammered the talking point that refusing to fund the federal government is all about protecting affordable healthcare insurance, and not about freebies for illegal aliens, part of the all-hands-on deck gaslighting of the American people by the party of lies.

The Comedy Central host was clearly unimpressed by the lame resistance of blocking DHS chief Kristi Noem from using the restroom at the Village of Broadview Municipal Building last week, and he vented by spewing falsehoods and smearing the dedicated law enforcement professionals who have already had targets put on their backs by Democrats and the media.
“ICE went from deporting the worst of the worst to throwing grandmothers onto linoleum and zip-tying American children,” Stewart claimed.
“And everyone’s just supposed to be cool with the new, masked, incredibly well-funded paramilitary group,” he continued, fuming that “Democrats are just reduced to petty gestures of restroom resistance.”
“Victory is ours,” he sarcastically declared after playing a clip of Noem being denied use of the facilities in a public building.
“Look, I’ve given Democrats an enormous amount of sh*t for their poor leadership: lack of specific and actionable plans, terrible messaging, abysmal wordplay. Did I mention poor leadership?” Stewart asked.
“But standing up for 75 million Americans in this moment to defend the rights of people to go into a little less medical debt seems like the least they can f**king do,” dropping an f-bomb, a word that’s now being frequently spewed by elected Democrats who have dumbed down the discourse and normalized vulgarity.
The host’s reference to children being zip-tied left out some very important context: it’s not true.
Illinois Governor JB Pritzker claimed that “There were people who were held, elderly people, and children zip-tied, elderly people held for three hours at a time,” a wild claim that is based on a hoax TikTok video.

“Children were never zip-tied. This is a shameful and disgusting lie,” DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said. “Why is the sitting Governor so unconcerned with criminal illegal aliens living among innocents in his city?”
Democrats and their mouthpieces are intensifying the demonization of ICE agents who have been smeared as fascists and Nazis, labels that tacitly encourage the party’s mentally unstable base to commit acts of violence against them.
The pioneer of the “comedy” as news model that spawned the new breed of partisan political late-night TV hosts and ushered in a new era of dumbness, Stewart is a true-blue Democrat stooge who shamelessly parrots his party’s lies.
