Joy Behar ROASTED for asinine take that Tim Scott and Clarence Thomas don’t know what it’s like to be black in America

The entry of Senator Tim Scott (R-SC) into the Republican presidential field has really ruffled the feathers of left-wingers, especially on “The View” where the co-hosts have dialed up the racism since he announced his candidacy on Monday, and ringleader Joy Behar was made to pay dearly for her incredibly dumb take, getting incinerated by Twitter users, including the target of her racist remarks.

On Tuesday’s edition of the daytime ABC gabfest, Scott’s announcement came up for the second day in a row when the foghorn-voiced New Yorker made the asinine claim that the South Carolina lawmaker, as well as Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, have no idea of what it’s like to be black in America.

“Well, isn’t he professor positive? Unlike Trump, everything is bad, there’s doomsday, he’s more like Reagan-esque, ‘Morning in America,’ things are fabulous. And he’s also hedging his bets,” Behar sneered. “He doesn’t really go out and say he’s not pro-choice exactly, although he did say – what did he say? That he would vote for anything they put on the table, the Republicans. So, he’s not pro-choice.”

“And he’s one of these guys, you know, he’s like Clarence Thomas, black Republican, who believes in pull yourself by your bootstraps, rather than, to me, understanding the systemic racism that African Americans face in this country and other minorities,” she added.”He doesn’t get it. Neither does Clarence.”

Rather than elevate the accomplishments of two successful conservatives of color who could provide desperately needed positive role models for young black men, the ladies at the table and their fellow Democrats instead chose to deride their accomplishments as shameful and racist, a real disservice to those whom they purport to be their greatest defenders.

Not wasting time in punching back against the flaming leftist ignoramus – as he previously did with her co-hosts – Senator Scott took to Twitter to defend his honor against Behar’s racist smear.

“When a Black conservative who believes in the future of this nation stands up to be counted, they lose their minds,” he wrote along with a clip of the segment. “That’s why I’m the candidate the radical Left fears the most.”

For Behar, it didn’t help her case that she once famously dressed up in blackface, a big no-no and some Twitter users were quick to refresh her memory while others expressed disgust at her racist stupidity.

On the previous day’s edition, Whoopi Goldberg cracked that Scott has what she snidely referred to as “Clarence Thomas syndrome” while co-host Sunny Hostin remarked that he has zero chance because the GOP base is too racist to vote for him.
