Joy Behar trashes ‘radicalized’ service members, calls for Fox News to be banned on military bases

Leftists celebrated Fox News’ eye-popping $787 million settlement with Dominion Voting Systems in a defamation lawsuit while the shrieking harpies on “The View” demanded that the network’s top hosts be fired and for good measure, smeared America’s servicemen and servicewomen while calling for the plug to be pulled on the conservative network on military bases.

On Wednesday’s edition of the popular ABC daytime talk show, a snakepit of stupidity that despite the ridiculous and hateful takes of the overly shrill co-hosts has a loyal audience of avid followers, longtime fixture Joy Behar inveighed against Fox News Corporation chair Rupert Murdoch for not firing the network’s most popular hosts and trashed the character of members of the armed forces whom she insinuated were right-wing radicals.

“If Rupert wanted to maintain any integrity, he would fire Laura Ingraham, Tucker Carlson – what’s his name, Sean Hannity,” the flaming redhead bleated in her foghorn voice.

“Yes! That would send a real message,” exclaimed race-obsessed co-host Sunny Hostin.

“Fire them all. Maria Bartiromo!” Behar added.

Co-host Whoopi Goldberg then threw cold water on the idea.

“But Rupert is not going to do that. I don’t understand – I understand there’s a lot coming down the pike, but I don’t like the idea that they don’t have to say it out loud. I don’t like that you’re hoping people will read the deposition. I wanted them to have to say, ‘We lied. And we knew we were lying but we lied anyway,'” the dismayed co-host said.

“They know they were lying, the lawsuit was pending, and Tucker Carlson continued to lie about January 6,” Behar shot back.”Through all this entire time, he’s still on the air lying that it was just some tourist event that went on that day. So, he’s like a sick – a sick pathological liar that cannot be controlled. The audience loves to be – His audience likes to be lied to. You know that song; tell me lies, tell me sweet little lies,” referring to the hit Fleetwood Mac single which she sang and danced to as the ladies at the table cackled.

“And the other thing. One more point, you know that Fox is broadcasted on military bases. Now, that is a tax-funded facility. Those are tax-funded facilities. They should not be broadcasting lies to our military. We are paying for that. Those boys and girls are going out there, defending this country, risking their lives, and they’re being fed lies on a regular basis! That needs to be changed immediately!” Behar added.

Hostin added, “And by the way, being radicalized. Being radicalized by what they’re hearing and what they’re listening – I mean, I have family members that watch Fox News exclusively. And I’ve admitted this before. I hate to admit it but I admit it. And the facts they try to tell me is just – is just lies. Just unbelievable but they believe it. I have family members that have moved out of the country – out of New York because they believe some of the lies.”

Prohibiting the troops from being able to watch news that isn’t completely controlled by the lying authoritarian left isn’t a new idea, it was previously called for by Democrat Rep. Eric Swalwell – who was demolished by his House colleague Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) who called him out for shacking up with a Chinese spy during a Wednesday congressional hearing – who initially suggested a ban on Fox News being broadcast on military installations.

“I think about our troops, and I’ve been all over the world and I’ve visited our troops in some of the harshest places, and nothing makes them feel more like home than their access, you know, to American television programming and a popular channel is Fox News,” he said during an appearance on MSNBC last month when he was asked about a leftist veteran group’s campaign to ban Fox on U.S. bases.

“Again, I don’t want to get into the business of telling troops what they can and cannot watch,” Swalwell continued, “but if you have a news station that a court is going to rule is in its evening hour, you know perpetuating dis and misinformation, I don’t know if I disagree with VoteVets who is saying that we need to take a look at you know, how this is being broadcast to our troops.”

Behar would do well to consider that it is the brave men and women whom she wants to deprive of their ability to choose what to watch who put their lives on the line to defend her right to go on television and make an ass out of herself on a daily basis.
