Radically far-left MSNBC host Joy Reid admitted on Wednesday that she stayed home this July 4th out of fear of gun violence.
“Sadly, there is nothing more quintessentially American than fireworks and gun violence. So far, we’ve had more than 350 mass shootings this year. According to a recent survey, around one in five Americans has lost a family member to gun violence,” she said on her MSNBC show this Wednesday.
“I have to say, I did not go out on July 4 and would not. The idea of going to a mass gathering, a parade, or a big fireworks thing outside seems insane to me, to be blunt, in America, because America is awash with guns, and now people don’t just have them; they seem to want to shoot people with them and use them for whatever, you know?” she added.

Later on in the segment, she added that she can’t imagine being a delivery driver in this crime-ridden day and age.
“I don’t know how anybody can be a DoorDasher. I don’t know how anybody can do a job where they have to deliver to someone’s home, or deliver Amazon. Ringing a doorbell is deadly now,” she said.
Her sentiment attracted some agreement on social media.

Stayed at home myself and inside after dark to fend off rain bullets. KY is crazy about their guns.

Reid’s remarks came two days after a cross-dressing Black Lives Matter supporter killed five people, including a 15-year-old boy, during a mass shooting in Philadelphia.
The shooting occurred late Monday when a man reportedly wearing a bulletproof vest and ski mask began firing randomly at people and vehicles.
“In a Tuesday afternoon news conference, Philadelphia Police Commissioner Danielle M. Outlaw told reporters the ‘armed and armored’ assailant was firing seemingly at random people, including a mother driving her twins home,” according to CNN.
“Responding officers ran toward the sound of gunfire and pursued the suspect, who fired a rifle while fleeing. The assailant was taken into custody in an alley without further incident, the commissioner said,” CNN reported Tuesday.
The shooter has since been identified as Kimbrady Carriker, a 40-year-old cross-dresser, Black Lives Matter supporter, and Second Amendment enthusiast.

In separate but related news, on Wednesday Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner blasted local lawmakers for their commitment to the Second Amendment.
Appearing on CNN, he was asked by Poppy Harlow about the effect the state’s gun laws have had on cities like Philadelphia.
“The city of Philadelphia has many times tried to institute its own gun laws, and you have been blocked by the state courts because of what are known as preemption laws, which block the city from instituting their own laws,” she said to him.
“As I understand it right now, the most recent case on that is on appeal. It will be heard by the State Supreme Court. Do you expect to prevail there? And if so, what would that change?” she then asked.
“We are going to keep fighting. We have to keep fighting, but it is time for this legislature, and, frankly, legislators across the country to swear off their addiction to NRA gunman and so swear off their addiction to this gun fetish that is really only shared by a moderate quantity of the U.S. population,” Krasner replied.
“Most Americans want reasonable gun regulation just like they want reasonable car regulation, and they accept reasonable car regulation. It’s time for people who are running for office to swear off NRA money, to swear off gun lobby money, to swear off this absurd interpretation of the Second Amendment that has been put out there by militias, much of it untrue. And frankly, it’s time for the Supreme Court to cut it out. This should not be a country of guns. It should be a country of people, living people,” he added.

His words were not well-received.

What does it matter? Larry doesn’t enforce any of the gun laws already on the books.

Says that man who’s career is based on not charging criminals for their criminal actions and furthering the destruction of the City of Philadelphia AND the Black families in that city who have to live in that crime. If the govt. won’t protect you, you have to protect yourselves.

This man refuses to prosecute criminals and then happily releases violent criminals back into society in the name of social justice. More often than not these people go on to murder, rape, and commit armed robberies.@DA_LarryKrasner has made Philly more dangerous than ever and…
