Joy Reid went after Amber Rose and found out she hits back

Model Amber Rose eviscerated MSNBC’s Joy Reid for being a “race baiter” after she made critical comments about her speech at the Republican National Convention.

The 40-year-old model and mother put Reid in her place after being called “racially ambiguous” by the leftist host during coverage of the RNC Monday.

Rose received a standing ovation after her speech in Milwaukee before a crowd she now says she feels at home with. In endorsing GOP nominee Donald Trump, she relayed how she had believed the left-wing lies about the former president.

“I believed the left-wing propaganda that Donald Trump was a racist,” she said, explaining that she did her own “research” which led her to realize that “Donald Trump and his supporters don’t care if you’re black, white, gay, or straight, it’s all love.”

But Reid’s on-air commentary dripped with scorn as she warned viewers not to accept Rose’s sentiments since she really was not black.

“She’s racially ambiguous. I don’t want to say she’s black because she has said she’s not, so I don’t want to say this black woman,” Reid said. “This woman who is of whatever race that she has claimed, she’s said she’s not black, but [the RNC] brought somebody whose whole career is based in black culture.”

“She used to be on a show on BET. That’s the reason most people know who she is. She dated one of the most prominent African American rappers in the business, in the history of hip hop, so her whole culture came from black culture, even though she said she’s not a black person herself, and the fact that she is now the person they’re using to try to recruit young people of color and to say that this is the person who is the endorser of Donald Trump who you should trust when she won’t even claim the culture that brought her to the table, I’m dubious that this will work,” Reid declared.

“I don’t know anyone who takes their political cues from Amber Rose, but just in case you do, you might want to duplicate doing your own research because she might not have done it thoroughly,” she added.

Rose leveled a no-nonsense response back at Reid on Tuesday.

“Hi @JoyAnnReid I’ve never said I wasn’t Black. I said I identify as biracial,” Rose wrote on X in a post that was deleted. “I’m not going to invalid my White father to make you feel more comfortable. Stop being a race baiter ur president does enough race baiting for all of us.”

Despite the post being deleted, it generated many views and comments on X, including from former ESPN host Sage Steele.
