Things are rapidly deteriorating for Joe Biden who was yanked off the campaign trail because of a positive COVID test, but Joy Reid sees an opportunity in his woes.
On Wednesday, the geriatric leader tested positive for the coronavirus despite being jabbed multiple times, prompting him to return to Delaware from Las Vegas where he was set to speak at an event before abruptly pulling out.
With Democrats and their media lackeys having to tone down playing the Hitler card after their rhetoric resulted in a narrowly failed assassination attempt on GOP nominee Donald J. Trump, the “race lady” suggested the White House should weaponize COVID for political purposes because, hey, it’s not like they haven’t done it before.
Reid and former Biden spox Jen Psaki were covering the GOP convention when the news broke about Biden’s ailment, allowing her to put her “campaign brain” to work with a suggestion for the White House to potentially show the velocity of the 81-year-old’s freefall.

“I think immediately, right, my sort of campaign brain goes to what Donald Trump did when he got COVID, which was to rip off his mask in front of a whole squad full of people and his Secret Service, give multiple Secret Service agents COVID and endangered them at a time when nobody knew what he was being treated with,” Reid began, pretending that masks actually worked for her gullible viewers.
“Chris Christie,” interjected Psaki referring to the gasbag former New Jersey governor and twice-failed presidential candidate who claims he caught the virus from Trump in 2020.
“And it’s also a quite interesting opportunity for President Biden to also show being responsible and I assume he’s going to get a mask on when he gets inside Air Force One and not spread COVID around, but also to remind people of what hell we went through with COVID because of Donald Trump,” Reid continued.
“Here’s a great messaging opportunity for President Biden to bring out the tape and remind people of how many people died, a million people are no longer with us. People’s Grandmas were dying alone with their iPad,” she said, not mentioning that the grannies perished alone in states run by lockdown-crazed authoritarian Democrat governors. “Great opportunity and messaging opportunity should the White House choose to take it.”
To her credit, it was an extremely rare take from Reid that didn’t involve race. Also to Reid’s credit, she somehow was able to make her bad take even worse.
She droned on to call Trump’s victorious moment of rising after the very near miss an “iconic photo op,” and argued that Biden’s eventual recovery from COVID could be seen “exactly the same” as Trump’s courageous reaction to almost being killed.

He may have come down with COVID but what may have made Biden really sick during his visit to Sin City was a meeting with campaign co-chair and Hollywood mogul Jeffrey Katzenberg who according to one report, had some very bad news for the flailing candidate.
Semafor reported that Katzenberg warned Biden that his “donors’ patience is wearing thin, and their cash soon will, too.”
“Katzenberg, one of Biden’s closest counselors and a conduit to moneyed circles in media and finance told the president that major donors, doubtful of his ability to win in November, have all but stopped writing the kind of big checks that sustain campaigns in the home stretch, people familiar with the meeting said. One of the people said the donor warning came in a broader discussion of other campaign topics,” according to the outlet.
Now Reid and her Democrat friends are just throwing everything at the wall to see what sticks, lord knows they have to since their Project 2025 fearmongering is a massive dud.
If they’re going to go back to COVID now, it’ll be an admission of how truly screwed the Democrats are.
