The Kamala Harris debacle was driven home by a new poll showing that not only do a majority of Americans have a very serious dislike of her but that she is historically awful to the degree that Jeanine Pirro suggests that women who aspire to the vice presidency may have a difficult time going forward.
On Tuesday’s edition of “The Five,” Pirro and her fellow Fox News co-hosts discussed the just-released NBC News poll that shows that 49 percent of registered voters have a negative view of Joe Biden’s running mate but that 39 percent said that their view is “very negative” in a poll where the veep’s ratings are so far underwater that her net – 17 rating is the worst in the history of the poll.

“The amazing part of this is that never in history has a position of vice president been more important than it is now,” Pirro said. “Should Biden be elected, he’ll be 82 at the time he is sworn in, she is literally a heartbeat away from the presidency, and with this negative..well what is it, 17 points…39 percent, had very negative feelings about her, like, hated her.”
“It is not just negative with 49 ,39, very negative,” the former New York judge continued. “She has an office with a toxic work environment. People are fighting with each other to get to the exit door. This is a woman who was in a position to make it easy for other women behind her to come forward and do the job, where Americans can say, ‘You know, a woman is, is capable of doing this.’ If anything, she has established the precedent that a woman is incapable of being vice president.”
“And just look at her with respect to what she has done,” she continued, noting that she has been an abject disaster as border czar. “And this nonsense that Joe is trying to sell us that ‘I couldn’t do it without Kamala,’ I mean, who was he kidding? So I guess the real question for them is, who do we let out? Joe, we don’t know if he’s gonna fall or stumble on his words, or Kamala, who’d just laugh her way through the whole thing…”
“And finally, let me just say about setting records, do you remember when they came out and she said ‘Joe, we did it, we did it’ when they won? It was so inauthentic. There was something about it that you just couldn’t buy. So if they really want to show Kamala more, the problem is she’s got nothing to tout,” Pirro said.
“Maybe she’ll talk about abortion, but they want her to talk about infrastructure. I don’t know if that’s gonna go so well. But for a woman who had it handed to her on a silver platter because she checked off all the boxes, for her to literally fail in this job is really a sad commentary on her abilities,” she concluded.
White House officials have been desperately working to burnish Harris’s credentials with there being serious concerns about whether the octogenarian Biden can survive a second term but it’s going to be a tough rock to roll with opinions about her putrid performance having already solidified with a large number of voters.
