Just the beginning? Florida sheriff nabs 8 new alleged child predators, one Disney employee

A Florida sheriff famous for his takedowns of child predators is back in the spotlight after nabbing eight new suspects — one of them a Disney employee AGAIN.

During a June 1st press conference, Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd announced the arrests of eight men linked to child pornography.

“The sheriff’s office said the eight people included a Disney employee, workers for Publix and Best Buy, and a boudoir photographer,” Orlando station WKMG reported.

“Officials say the suspects were possessing and/or distributing thousands of photos and videos of babies, toddlers and children being forced into sex acts or displayed in sexually explicit poses,” according to the station.

That they’ve been busted is the good news. The bad news is that many of their victims remain missing.

“Judd said while the suspects may be caught, they don’t know where the victims are and they need help finding them. Parents also need to be more aware of what their children are doing online, whether it’s communicating on social media or interacting through computer and video games,” according to WKMG.

“If you’re not all up in your children’s business, if you don’t know what they’re doing online, if you’re not monitoring, if you’re giving them space, you can be sure one thing: the child predators fill in the space that you’re giving them,” Judd said during the presser.

Judd also reportedly said that it’s important to realize that many of the suspects don’t have a long, if any, criminal record, and were, for the most part, living a secret life.

“We truly believe the wives whenever they said we didn’t know because it’s not uncommon for them to hide this from everyone. So when you see him on the street, they can look like Joe average citizen,” he said.

Take Disney employee Paul Viel:

“He’s 40 from Davenport. He’s married. He works at Disney World at Cosmic Ray’s Restaurant. In fact, he just recently moved to Polk County from Indiana, and he moved here specifically to work at Disney World,” Judd said during the June 1st presser.

Why Disney World?

“You know, back in the day, they arrested Willie Sutton for robbing banks. He was a notorious bank robber. And they asked Willie Sutton, ‘Hey, Willie, why do you rob banks?’ And he said, ‘That’s where the money’s is,'” Judd continued.

“Well, why do people like Paul Viel work at Disney? Because that’s where the children are, and they want to be around children,” he added.

And evidently, the reason why he wanted to be around children is because he seemed to enjoy seeing them being forced into sexual activities.

“He had 540 counts of child pornography, from newborns to eight years of age. He also had videos. And he was a sadomasochist. There were photographs where they had tied up babies in preparation for sexual battery. There was one where a child was just weeks old where they had the child’s hands tied behind her back. Can you believe that? A very young child with her hands tied behind her back,” Judd explained.

“There’s videos of a three-to-six-month-old being sexually battered by an adult male. His wife asked, ‘Did I marry a monster?’ Yes, you did. You married a monster. By the way, when we kicked the door in, he came to the door nude. Think about this for a minute. Photographs of children bound up, some with their hands tied behind their backs. Infants,” he added.

A number of conservatives responded to Judd’s arrests by praising him for his continued work taking down pedophiles, with one supporter even saying that former President Donald Trump should hire him if he wins the 2024 race:

“I’m sorry but people (and I mean everyone of age) MUST listen to Sheriff Grady Judd of Polk County Florida. This (sadly) horrific description of this Disney World employee is happening in many, many places around our country and the world,” Gen. Mike Flynn tweeted.

“Is this just the beginning?” journalist Lara Logan tweeted.
